Good to see you around the boards, roger!
Hi roger!
Still ooommmmmming.
Roger--
After a month of agony you should be half-way to healing. Remember, my family curse involves breaking femurs at irregular invervals and I regard myself as a connoisseur of bone pain.
Physical Therapists are very hurt if you suggest that they trained with the Marquis. Their suggestions for additional discomfort are for your own good.
Pain passes slowly--but it does pass.
Hold your dominion.
Truely George, I'm well aware that it's still back there. Bet you never did this with the rowing machine, huh?
Thanks for the card, JPB. When I can sit for more than 5 minutes, I'll answer all of them.
Roger
Your recovery sounds quite a painful process. I'm certain it is.
But, on the credit side (& I have searched very hard for this! ) you could make the best of this hard time & use it for reflection. Reflection is never, ever wasted. (Even if you believe it's a bloody nuisance at the time!)
So reflect & heal, Roger.
And may the time not seem to be moving too slowly.
(Ya know, I have this hunch that Barney has been taken in by some kindly person who believes him to be lost or misplaced. Sooner or later this kindly person will open their door or a window & Barney will return to you. Then he might have
two good homes to frequent!
This is what I'm hoping for, anyway ...)
Hey there, Roger. We are thinking of you.

No, you got the injured-keister bragging rights all to yourself.
Thinking of Roger and his injured-keister.

I've a friend, ride partner actually, who has brought a dozen or so books. Our tastes are similar, so I've read many before. So, I read them again. No to audio books, and the machines that support them. I'm fighting clutter with all my heart.
G'day Roger from down here!
Sorry to hear about the keyboard. I was hoping it would come back all by itself.

Was it the Drivers fault?
I'm a cyclist and this is becoming a big problem in cycling.
I'm hazy on the details, but apparently it was mine. I was cited for failure to yield. It's academic anyway. She was uninsured, so I should benefit from my 'uninsured motorist insurance' regardless of fault. And if she is uninsured, it's because she hasn't the money for insurance, meaning there's not much point in filing a suit.
