Manhattan- wonderful!
It has been a long time since I have been there- sigh.

2004- lots of police were around when Bush was at the convention:

Good morning and a happy Sunday to Dan and all Wildclickers.

Just read about the opening of the Lee-Chin-Crystal in Toronto. Looks impressiv and interesting. I have no idea where it is situated and wonder how it "fits" to the other buildings nearby.

Wow, that's an unusual design for a building. Here is the only photo I could find at your link to show what is next door. Looks like a BIG crystal growing out of a row of 'normal' buildings..... Shocked

hope it works this time - if not, you will have to click on the link.

Click through these photos..

Evidently the 'Crystal' is an extension of the original museum. Interesting.... Very Happy The old building experienced "growing" pains. groan

I've been watching the 'growth' of the Crystal over the years. I drive past it on my way home from Tafelmusik concerts a couple of times a month. I quite like it. I liked the old ROM, but I'm enjoying the kick the hmm it's not exactly an addition, more like a development, the development has given the building and that corner.

We're getting some really interesting architecture here in Toronto. There are some rumblings about it becoming a bit of a design centre.

g'day wildclickers

Well, yesterday shudda zagged instead of zigged whilst trimming hedges, and me back went byebye. Took a warm epsom salts bath, a vicaden, finished trimming n' sweepin' - fed kittens, then zonked. Worked today, rather a bit unconciously. Such a med lightweight is Stradee. Shocked I'll consider myself lucky if my back decides to join the rest of me for work tomorrow. owie

What an interesting building, ehBeth! Looks great, imo.

ul, summer weather began a few weeks ago, and there hasn't been one cold day since. The full moon seems especially lovely when skies are clear and temps warm. Hang in there! Your summer arrives soon.
Nice photos!

Have a super time in NY, ehBeth Very Happy

Dan, yep - Wildclickers rock!!

Must be sump'n in the air, Stradee. I woke up with a bad back this morning and I ain't been trimmin' no hedges nor indulging in any similar spring cleanup endeavors. Just the luck of the draw, I guess.

Weather's been fabulous hereabouts . . .until this morning, that is. Woke up to temps in the '50s and they haven't gone much beyond 60 Fahrenheit. Also drizzly, overcast and grey. Depressing. Hadda shut off the a/c both in my apartment and my car. Horrors!

Looking forward to Herr Walter Hinteler being in town this Wednesday and a planned get-together of A2Kers at John Harvard's Alehouse in Harvard Square, Cambridge, that night. RealJohnBoy is flying in all the way from So. Carolina just for that meeting. Now, that rocks!

Good Earthturn, Wildclikers

Merry, if there's sumpin in the air, hopefully the Spring rain washed the planetary-back-owies away. Dang

Sitting in the office, with first cup of coffee of the day, listening to the sounds of rain, and thankful the universe hadn't scheduled foot breakage instead. Very Happy

Have a wonderful holiday, ehBeth and Merry. Godspeed

Lots of warm rain here too.
The gardeners are happy.

Smiling, the kids sent pictures from their ongoing trip. They have a good time. Now they are in Nevada.
Stradee, have a great day. I have just 2 hours more
