I was a pilot in Vietnam. I flew missions (that's what we called them in the old days) with Duct - an/or - Duck Tape covering the bullet holes in parts of my airplane. We didn't stop then, and our troops are not stopping now.

Meet Anuk, not my own, but I will have to dog sit him once in a while.

Now that is a bit of white fluff - cute.

Dan, yep - the deer are my favs and the two babies i adopted last winter are healthy, the males taller than his mom now and sporting antlers a tad higher than his ears. His sibs petite and not quite the height of her mom yet. Mom appears a bit lean, but with caring for two teenagers, i'm not surprised. Dad visits the pellet bin during the daylight hours now, and doesn't seem the least bit afraid of my presense. Is that cool or what??? He's a bit camera shy though.

After feeding at the pellet bin, the family of deer sit a spell near the porch, do a bit of gardening, and with dad watching from a distance, the three sit for photos with narry a blink. too cute
