We have the same problem with Chloe and April. They both are nervous when the thunder sounds. It's - deep sounding - like the predators who throughout history have been dangerous to them. So, I think - like OUR ancestors in history - we are all nervous about predator sounding tones.

Or, maybe, it's all in our minds and not related to reality at all..... Shocked

Doubt that - - - Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Kricked......... Kreaked ?? creakky?? Anyway some days everything not easy to get moving.. Crying or Very sad

Good afternoon to all of you.

63 acres or about 25 ha

That's the size of Hagenbeck, the zoo in Hamburg
or
Rabbit Island (Mānana Island) on the Windward side of O'ahu, north of Makapu'u Point
or
Rainbow Island near Toronto.

Adding more clicks.

Have been out this afternoon, in the neighbourtown (public holiday today), and walked abit through a park, which had been 15 years ago the ground of a state garden show.

Now, there's this pretty organic lawn management (with some more flowers) ...

... and nice as well this 'savage' front garden

63 acres!!!!!!!!!!

Way ta go wildclickers!

Sounds like there are a few wildclicker puppies running for cover - thunder isn't kittens favorite sound either, specially during mountain thunder and lightening storms. Kittens arn't nervous. Kittens totally freak! Shocked Impossible calming them = burrowed underneath the couch, dressers, beds... where they feel safe and more importantly, invisible! to funny

Walter, very neat photos.

Decided to let the lawns go organic, being i have no say in the matter - with clover and now strawberry plants plus newly planted lawn seed all melding for an interesting potpourri view. Smile

Not near as lovely as your photos though. Thanks for sharing.

Sacramento has two vistors - a mom humpback whale and her baby that seems to have been injured by a boat propellar causing the animals to veer from their course. Today's news said that marine rescuers will attempt playing recorded whale songs underwater - hoping the whales will follow the sounds so they can return to the SF Bay then out through the Golden Gate.

I like this garden. Once upon a time I had a Bauerngarten like this.

Danon, LOL- now I can write several stories using all the words.

I hope the whales find their way back.

Merry, the whales, after they were injured, swam through the Gate, then the Carquinez Straits - the Sacramento river. A few years ago, a whale named Humphry stayed in the Contra Costa area delta until rescuers were able to lead him out of the bay and through the Gate again. Was quite an exciting event for locals - Humphry hammin' for the cameras and onlookers. He was healthy though. The two new whales, both mom and baby, are injured. A real concern for rescuers also. I haven't heard news reports today yet but apparently rescuers will begin piping whale songs and hopefully can begin herding the whales.

Dan, you'll be more familiar with the map. Check out the distance from the bay to Sacramento.

ww, the gov much to busy sueing the feds. Gotta luv ahnold. Smile

Cutie coots, Walter. Great photos, lovely park, beautiful coloring. You all wildclickers take the neatest photos.

sue, when do you plan relocating? Tell us more!

ul, i hope so too. Humphry was sighted five years after his rescue swimming outside the Golden Gate. Course, the two whales swimming in the Sacramento River are further inland than Humphry was. Keeping fingers, eyes and toes crossed for a successful rescue.
