881. I think the relief one finds in healing a rift with a loved one is more than a tonic for the soul. It makes one more alive than before, more receptive to the positive charge in the universe. It's a euphoria that lasts, and is easily rekindled, sometimes for years.
882. I think there is something to eating to be less acid and more alkaline. Since I've been making a conscious effort, I have begun to feel more spry, and have greater stamina.

886. Words from a song written by Bonnie Dodd:
A tongue can accuse and carry bad news
The seeds of distrust, it will sow
But unless youve made no mistakes in your life
Be careful of stones that you throw.
887. Visit your DeSoto-Plymouth dealer. And, when you do,
tell 'em Groucho sent you.
888. A photo my older brother took, during Operation Desert Strike,
in, I think, 1964.
889. At our 25th Wedding Anniversary party, I got my wife good. She had been saying for a long time she wanted a new anniversary ring. So, I went down to the toaster store and bought a nice four slice toaster. I also went down to the anniversary ring store and bought her a ring. I put the ring inside the package with the toaster. As she unwrapped her gift from me, she gave me a look of great disappointment. "You're the one that wanted a toaster," she said. She was about to shove it aside for the next gift, and so I had to come up and help her find the ring. Her disposition changed a great deal after that.
890. I think hurricane Dean will come in around McAllen.
891. I think, instead of having favorite music albums by the artists I love, I have to consider the body of work they have produced. That way, I don't miss any of their best tracks.
892. I think it was wrong to greet rama fuchs that way (Abuzz Guilt), when he came to this forum. At least give him a chance to post before tearing into him.
893. I think it's an epidemic. Now, two of my ex brothers in law are in the hospital, one with severe pneumonia, the other with lung and brain cancer. Another ex brother in law died a few weeks back. He had a heart condition.
894. my younger full brother has always been a good artist. This photo does not do the picture justice. He painted it somewhere in the 1960s.
895. I think a2k's fifth b'day is a thing to be proud of. Best group of people I have ever known.
896. I'm using photobucket for this, because my free flickr account is full. That's me to the right.

I thought, I thought of thinking of thanking you.
Hello, and welcome to a2k, ramafuchs.
Edgar
Thanks.
Have you ever stopped to think and forgot to start again?
I don't really think all that much. My intellect is closer to subliminal than the true thinkers. I barely get by, sometimes.
Edgar
I can understand.
Is it true that someone who thinks logically is a nice contrast to the real world?

899. Sometimes, like today, I find myself reminiscing inside a vacant apartment. In apartment 1103, I saw the shadows of the past, in the form of my friend, Karma, and also the woman who preceded her. Karma, a lovely music teacher, around ninety years old, telling stories of her childhood, recounting her career, facing her struggle with loss of ability as her body deteriorated, and her last great struggle being the simple act of walking from one side of the room to the other, without falling. She walked half of each day, striving to retrieve that ability. The last time she went to her doctor, he refused to allow her to return home. But, the assisted care environ was not her home. She only lived there a short time, before one day she lay down after breakfast for a nap, never to wake up.
The other woman, I never knew by name. She was a gentle soul, who politely let me in to perform maintenance duties. When I would explain things to her, she would reply, "Thank you for telling me that." Her personal library held an astonishing range of fine books, which, her daughter assured me, she had read and understood every one of them. She progressively became more silent. For a time, when I worked in there, she stood off to the side, and always began singing, because she was happy another human was around, showing concern. Soon, she began hiding in the next room, when I came. Finally, she was moved to a facility, in which, I was told, she was happier.
Others have been in this apartment, in recent times. The last one was stung by yellow jackets, that had nested in the patio wall. It took me half a day and three stings, to get them out. 1103 has been rented again. I am curious to see who this next one will be.
