@cicerone imposter,
Right now I'm having a small cry, hearing a tune by the Fureys, that my mother used to sing to me -

I am trying to wrap up the final chapter in my novel, this coming week. The revision will be about as tough as the first draft, likely.

Finished. Tomorrow I will print my rough draft and make also a disc of it. Then begin work from page one and hope I can put enough lipstick on this pig to make readers think I am a writer. Smile Joking. If I doubted myself that much, I would stick to self publishing. I hope to land an agent as soon as I have a presentable manuscript.

@cicerone imposter,
Thanks, CI. I want to get it all done, because I am already making notes for a sci/fi story.

@edgarblythe,
I think Sophia looks divine, she doesn't look 30 but when you try to turn the clock back 50 years you are asking for a disfigurement. Hopefully she will never want to look 30 0r 40 thru surgery, and she may have eyelash extensions but so what, Ive used them when I was club hoping. Sophia has a deft touch with her makeup, she looks terrific, I hope I can look half as good when I get to 70, let alone 80. Lets just admire her beauty and her strength, and hope she appears in another comedy or elegant drama. I'd love to see her on the screen again.

@glitterbag,
I have always admired that lady. She is beautiful to me, still.

A safe work area is a clean work area.
Making a trellis for my front yard, I had it done and painted, when I tripped over my own mess, as I attempted to put away the paint. It was so quick that I couldn't do a thing to protect my knee or hand. They both were jammed against the ground at the same instant. The knee pain was immediate and severe. The hand seemed fine, for a quick moment. My knee pain went away within a minute or so. Turns out, the hand took a puncture wound. It is only skin deep, but it is worrisome, because of where it is located. Tomorrow, I have got to police that work area and make it safe again.

Somebody told me how to do that one time before, but I failed to grasp it.

A while back, I almost had a package returned to its point of origin, because I did not go to the Post Office to sign for it and pick it up in time. We have a bank of mail boxes near the entrance. In years past, the carrier always has left a notice for me to go pick it up. I expect that, because Rocky is loose in the yard and I would not hand deliver to me. That time, I went down and got it. The second time, I complained to the man at the window, who said he also was the supervisor. He assured me that the next time it happened like that he would personally take a hand with the carrier. It happened the same way once or twice more, so I went online to the USPS site.

At the site I voiced my complaint. The next time, the carrier did everything by the book. After that, it all reverted to the same problem. Complaining resulted in removal of tracking for my packages. Leaving me to guess: The package takes three weeks, on average, to arrive. With no tracking and no notice put in the mailbox, I go to the post office and ask for the unidentified package every day at that point. However, I have one last option.

I had a new package mailed this morning. (They all come from Ecuador). If there is no tracking this time, I will call the number on the website and explain it to somebody in, I think, DC. If I know my government, the doody will either hit the fan, or I will be brushed off. No harm in at least trying.

I saw a bluebird, near a corner of the house, a few minutes ago. First one I recall seeing around here. We surprised one another and it flew off, somewhere.

I usually see mockingbirds or blue jays. Mockingbirds are pests and practically fearless and I admire them.
