Would anyone like to host a small stuffed squirrel?

I finally got a chance to read this (thanks for the link, Walter). Great idea and lots of fun for the kids, the hosts, and the squirrel!

If the skunk wants to come, timber can send him on down to Madison. He can go to ma's college, maybe put in an appearance somewhere around town.

He might have to go see the vet, though.

When you get the skunk, patiodog, perform a lobotomy on it, and film the entire process for the childrens' edification.

He could get descented, like most pet skunks. Nothing more interesting to children than perianal surgery.

Sorry, margo! Would you like to be on board for the skunk tour?

Ma's college is Pa's college too, that'd be great, Patiodog, thanks!

Lots of fun for the bystanders too, JPB. Just got this from my mom:

Quote:
'm curious whether you are getting copied the emails Rocky's hosts are sending to his classroom. This is so above and beyond what anyone else is doing that I think even the teacher is a little cowed. [Rocky's kid] is loving it!

Oof, sorry! (Making more amendments to the list -- anyone else I overlooked, let me know! I'll probably start a new thread for the skunk [who needs a good name, sozlet's calling him Smelly but that lacks a certain oomph] so others who are interested can jump in then.)

Cyphercat, do you want Rocky? You're in an under-represented region, I think.

Well, then the skunk should definitely meet Bucky.

Sure, that'd be fun!

I'll check with my guinea pig on what these rodent types like to do on vacation, and I'll make sure he gets to climb a redwood or two.

We sent a little package direct to the school, we have a kangaroo shaped hole punch so I got my kids punching some sheets of coloured paper and sent the kangaroo shapes coulpe of hundred about 1/4 inch x1/4 inch. A couple of post cards of Aussie wattle and other flowers, a platypus fridge magnet, some aussie themed stickers (flag, marine creatures and animals) and some postage stamps.

Glad the little man is loving it. Write your mom and tell her I loved doing it. Its a buzz getting some feed back.

ABLE 2 KNOW rocks my world!!

If the skunk isn't real, and time is not a probem, then I am in.

Scheduled:

6.) Smorgs, (Manchester)
7.) Dys/ Osso, (NM)
8.) Roger (Farmingham)
9.) DrewDad/ Shewolf, (Austin, TX)

Hmmm. Would like maximum diversity within the time frame. The US stint is heavy on the southwest/ TX, maybe send to another US region. Most of the first non-SW areas are in the Midwest, which is where Rocky's from in the first place. Maybe Jes in Boston...? So that'd probably be Ul to Smorgs, Smorgs to Jes, Jes to Dys/ Osso.

Ul, Smorgs, and especially Jes, whaddya think?

If you want, I dont mind taking the Skunk instead, so you can pass around Rocky some where else??

I don't know if the skunk will like it here - but one of our other animals certainly would like to show him even better places than Hörni did with Rocky.

I was thinking of other A2Kers in other lands who have shown a tendency to post pics. Have you contacted satt_fs? A stint in Asia before heading back to the US would complete the round-the-world circuit.

Rocky hasn't arrived yet - no mail delivery on Saturdays here. Embarrassed
So I look forward to meet him Monday night and I will him take him to school with me.

From here to Great Britain- thanks, NIMH for the information.
