Would anyone like to host a small stuffed squirrel?

I had named him Pepe when we first got him.

(Who's John Henson?)

No rush, ul! We're doing really well on time so far (knock on wood).

DrewDad, would you be OK with having solo Rocky duty in Texas? That would probably be simpler.

If you need a stopoff in Puget Sound, I'll host a critter. Is it okay if the Chow-Chows play with it a little?

No problem.

John Henson used to host Talk Soup. Known as "skunk boy" for the spot of white in his hair.

Rocky hasn't arrived yet - no mail delivery on Saturdays here. Embarrassed

Well, ONE day would be really fast - a letter from Germany to Austria usually takes two days (mostly, can observe that nearly once per week  ).

Tagged_lyricist in South Africa. Of course, if he gets a yen for Japan, I believe that's where Satt calls home.

Better forget Africa. Tagged would have him corrupted beyond all repair.

Name for skunk--what about Flower, like the skunk in Bambi. Just a thought.

:-)

No rush, by the way, things are going great so far and if things slow down, also not a big deal.

Rocky has safely arrived!
Tomorrow he wants to meet my class to go skating with us in front of the city hall. He also thinks of exploring the UN City and some places down town.
Have to find rain gear for him.

Oh goody! I'm looking forward to it.

(Note to all, you can be as elaborate as you want but the bare minimum is plenty! I don't want people down the line to feel this has become a bigger project than they agreed to... whatever you can do, even if it's just a postcard from your area and a few lines in the accompanying booklet, is much appreciated!)

Rocky got his pass to the ice rinks on the Rathausplatz ( City hall square).

The tower of the City Hall was too high:oops:

Just oppsite of the City Hall is the National Theater ( Burgtheater)

These young ladies were eager to skate with him.

My kids ( First graders) were all very excited to meet Rocky. Walter taught him a bit of German and the kids tried to speak English with him. (What's your name? My name is..., I live in Vienna. Where do you live? Do you like ...)Very Happy

A need a day more, I had to stay in school till 5 pm- subbing duties. Then it was getting dark already.

PS: I am having a lot of troubles to connect to A2K- this post needed 3 attemps- always: Critical Error.
