He leaves an empty spot in all our hearts, Walter.

Do you still have snow this year?
From today's Albuquerque Journal (page B8)
Thanks Walter.
Short season, too.
Looking forward to a new Rocky adventure.
That's great. See if you can perk him up a bit? The whiskers on one side were drooping badly. Not a good sign in a squirrel.
Has someone got any response by the school yet?

I recieved the shortest possible email thanking me for my input. I'm fine with that and dont expect anything else. I imagine security concerns and all that would limit responses
Well, to be honest: I had expected an email, since it was quite a bit I've send.
I got none.
Same here and I am not sure if the mail ever reached them. At that time I had some troubles with my mails.
On the other hand the school will answer when the project is done.
Some kids in my class do ask about Rocky whereabouts- and we look it up on the map. So this project does enrich us too.
My mom has been saying how great the project is going and how much she's enjoying reading the emails, which were forwarded from either the teacher directly or from Rocky's owner's parents, but either way the teacher got 'em.
Pity she hasn't responded in more depth -- may just be time constraints, I dunno. I promise to be morer fulsome in my responses to Penny-the-hamster's travels. :-D
So how's Rocky doing meanwhile?
I'm behind on posting some photos as an essay - had a computer meltdown in the last week. Plan to regurgitate it all if only for our own interest soon.
Rocky's fine, awaiting photo excursion.
Weather here's been nasty, and I couldn't get away yesterday. I plan to take him out with the girls on Saturday.
Is shewolf going to take a turn, or should I send him on to Marty on Monday?
Sounds excellent - are the girls old enough?
No DD.
Im not in on this end of the Rocky tales..
for him to hit Austin 2xs by two diffrent people would take up too much time.

They went on a bowling date the other day, so I suppose it's OK....
Marty's next, yep.
Then back to me, then we get Penny started...!
Can't wait to get Rocky. But I feel a little stupid that my daughter is going to have to help me upload the pics. We've had mostly rain but next week looks like a sun break.
Rocky made an excursion today to the State Capitol building.
Now to fill out the paperwork....
