Thanks for clearing that up, osso. I was torn between laconic and large.

Let's see, here are the photobucket photos -

I'll have to wend them around some research....

The restaurant.
This interests both Diane and I, who think we might have been here before a whole bunch of years ago. I know my parents (with me) drove '66 in the fifties at least three times back and forth.

When we ordered, I got a meatloaf sammich and onion rings....
I probably wouldn't have ordered either of those when I was nine.

We had a good time talking with our waiter, who had just graduated with a degree in teaching and was figuring out where he should apply for a teaching position. He was thinking, Colorado..
I took a few photos in our area of the restaurant -

and the Pev's...

and http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/ossobuco/FH000003-2.jpg

Then, outside, with Rocky -

and a minute later with Rocky (it was cold out) -

So, wait, what I called Pev's is probably Pez. Sigh. I just can't keep track of everything.

Apologia for my focus - my eyes are very different, always have been, and my right, the old strong eye, has a pretty beefy cataract. Some may remember my left is a bit of a mess. Which is to explain that my focus is loco. This is my second time around on this, and probably not the last. It's disheartening, and so on, but also oddly freeing re caring about focus and depth of field. What you see is what you get, and my camera may mirror that. Not always a bad thing.

Loved seeing that malted machine. Your focus looks fine to me (the pot calling the kettle black, so to speak).

As little Ollie Twist said, "More, please."

The teacher does? Really?

I haven't been showing anyone (except sozlet, and then just pictures) anything from this. A reminder, from the original post:

Absolutely fabulous pictures all around, thanks roger and Osso! I like the ones with Rocky in the round diner window, Rocky on the car hood looking towards the Sandias, and Rocky at the Salmon Ruins.

Really cool!
