Would anyone like to host a small stuffed squirrel?

Needs to be back to his school in Minneapolis by April 13th. But I'd like him sent back to me for the last leg, so, good point -- let's say back to me by April 5th, 2007.

He's all packaged up and ready to go, in a small and sturdy Amazon box that could be used for the whole thing, hopefully. (10" X 7" X 2.5") There are only 8 pages left in the booklet (9 total, I used one), so we might be getting close to the limit already.

Let's see, we have

1.) Me
2.) Walter
3.) Ul
4.) Smorgs
5.) nimh
6.) Dys
7.) Osso

So just two more (probably realistic to not have too many more in terms of getting back in time, too).

Looks like Rocky's Tour de World is bumping up against a time limit.

I'm wondering if this squirrel is laden with drugs and is clever A2K plot to distribute drugs around the globe? A Johnny Applesquirrel, if you may.

Btw: I've taken about half ounce of that white powder inside the squirrel only - should be enough left for the others.

And we have huge "maria jane" plants out here, where we can stuff up
the squirrel real good.

Hey, now! Try to keep in mind; Rocky is a very young squirrel.

sozobe, you could get gustav's name and address if you send
the squirrel to him.

Eeyore looks like he's believing every word about Australia, Germany, Austria, and even England. Isn't that cute? This was taken on "Take a Squirrel to Work Day", by the way

Rocky checks out the Salmon Ruins outside of Farmington, NM

Diet tip from Rocky; If you want to lose weight, try Bucky's "Nothing but Trees" diet plan. It works.

I know, I know, I tried to get the left whisker to stay down...

I picked up the photos and cds a couple of hours ago, four rolls, only one involving Rock Squirrel. One is blank. I fear the worst..... and have distracted myself with some work around the place before looking.

but even if the worst happens and rocky photos are blank, I've other stuff to send to the school about Albuquerque. Plus, he experienced those adventures, looking over the Rio Grande at the Sandia mountains... and looking from my neighborhood toward the Petroglyphs. And then the probable better photo of Dys and Diane and Rocky at the Cafe 66 or whatever the cafe's name is.

Glad he made it to Farmington ok -

Yes, I'm happy with the photos. Whew! It'll take me another bunch of time to load them and put on photobucket and link here. Stay tuned.

I know what you mean. I experienced some major frustrations with getting only part of a photo to load. It took more than one attempt for each of them.

I'm photo profligate... partly from the old days taking photos for classes. I've learned that I can like more many exposures years later. A certain car gets in the shot, a certain house, and so on.

(Got to get those organized, some are good from others' pov than my own, my own which I can get sentimental about.)

Just breathing here before I throw the swath at photobucket...

I got other pictures in and around farmington, but picked the best, in my opinion. I'll probably send the cd and maybe a few prints along with Rocky. Just to show what the area looks like, I mean. Some things look good to the eye, and the important/interesting part just gets lost in the photo. I haven't developed a really good judgement about all this.

Well, I've got the photos on to photobucket. Will post them here momentarily. I can guess that only a couple of them would be interesting for the kids, and I'll probably only send them a few.

Maybe my followup links/show to the school, will spark it up.

It has just occurred to me that sozobe might be showing this link to the kids and, if I remember correctly, I may have injected a few off color remarks.

Now what?

Sorry, kids, I was just kidding.
