@XXSpadeMasterXX,

woke up this morning to the sounds of back-up beeps and heavy machinery.
it was one of them "snow strike teams" getting the leftovers on the shady side of our street.

we can admire our clear, dry sidewalk for another couple of days before mothah naycha craps on it again...

Then our evil plan is working. *rubs hands together gleefully while taking the secret elevator to the underground bunker*

Oops, I've said too much.

My daughter in Denver posted this photo today:
(She mentioned she did not want to drive in it to get to work)

@edgarblythe,
That looks a lot like Longmont, CO, rather than Denv. Then again, all those Colorado exurbs prob'ly look the same.

@Lustig Andrei,
I use the generic Denver. She is actually in a town near Denver proper.

@Region Philbis,
25 cm - less than a foot - doesn't sound like much

@edgarblythe,
Denver used to be a near legend for lots of snow, and lots of people who had no concept of how to drive in the stuff.

@Region Philbis,
Gaaahhhh chilly here, maybe 2 - 3" of so but it is the heavy stuff. Shoveled about 1 1/2 hrs ago and it's all lightly covered over again. Feh.

@jespah,
We had 10" or so between Tuesday evening and Wednesday afternoon here in the mountains of Virginia. Also very wet and heavy. A lot of people still have no power. We lost ours for six hours.
It is melting fast, though, today.
