definitely worrying on the agriculture and food cost side of this - the bad bugs didn't all die off as the winter wasn't harsh enough

and it came to pass

could be worse this year

@ehBeth,
Oof.

We had the crazy-warm weather too (66!! broke records), now it's properly cold again. I didn't hate the crazy-warmth (removing the outdoor Christmas decorations was much more pleasant than usual) when taken out of context. But 66 in early January is freaky.

@ehBeth,
We are looking at diseases we have never had spreading to Oz, and diseases we had way up north spreading south.

We've only had about 1.5" all season. No shoveling yet.

One hour and forty-five minute commute this morning.
Normally it takes about thirty-five minutes.
How is it that everyone forgets how to drive in the snow over the summer?

@George,
'Cause it doesn't snow in the summer?

Looks like it finally stopped here. I know what my afternoon cardio's gonna be.

How much did you get?

Still zero snow here and nothing in the forecast with accumulations 10 days out.

edit: although I well remember getting 26" in one day on Feb 1st a couple years back.

I'd thought that yesterday, too. And today, I've wondered why everyone thinks that cleared roads might be a Fata Morgana ...

Silly wabbit-dog.
And be careful running.
My lunch-time workout will be cross-training, which is to say, I'm staying
inside and using the stationary bike and the rower.

@George,
Half hour of white stuff removal.

It's heavy and wet, beware.

Damn rain is keeping the snow from accumulating here in Gotham City.
