Unfortunately the sun is high enough in the sky to melt some of the snow on the north slope of the roof. Our front door is under the north slope of the roof and despite the gadget to divert the drip, the front steps are dangerously icy.
Mr. Noddy has a broken arm. Last night Mr. Noddy removed his 2 1/2 week old cast from his broken arm.
Mr. Noddy will not be able to use the roof rake.
I'm too short and lacking upper body strength to use a roof rake--providing that I had a non-skid place to stand to attempt moving the world with an unwieldy lever.
I hope Harry o'the Plow takes pity on Senior Citizens suffering White In.
Yeah - we finally got enough snow to play in! Although it was icy due to sleet after the snow storm, it was fast for the sled - couldn't really build a snowman though as the kids wanted. But boy was that hill fast and slippery.
And it's melting nicely, too <knocks on wood>.

Large chunks of ice just fell off the roof. Dear little, always-alert Iffy just continued with her afternoon nap. She found a bit of sunshine and didn't want to waste it.
Good dog. 1 hr, 21 minutes to go.
We've got spring already since 4 hours and 14 minutes - as cold now as it was before :wink:

Every year winter is longer and longer and spring is shorter and shorter. Summer gets hotter and hotter...and we start all over again.
