Last night we watched Fire with Fire, pretty good movie, having two hot firemen in it was an added bonus.

I watched Notes on a Scandal. Judy Dench is deliciously evil, and Cate Blanchett is wonderful in this film. This film could not have been made when I was a teenager.
We watched a Ray Liotta movie called The River Murders, it didn’t get very good reviews but we both enjoyed it and it’s a movie I’d probably watch again sometime.

Inception with Leonardo DiCaprio
Love it. I could watch it a gazillion times and I would still love it. Oh the possibilities.
We just bought that movie on DVD last weekend and watched it, yes good movie! Loved it!

Saw the entire first disc of last season's Mad Men on DVD. It is so much better than watching it on commercial television, where commercials are constantly breaking the flow.

Just saw Looper. Sci-fi Thriller with dramatic storyline. Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Also possibilities.

Went to see Les Miserables (2012) on the IMAX screen last night. Beautifully shot. Mostly great singing but a tad too long. Should have been edited down almost 30 minutes.
Got the Blu Ray of "Beasts of the Southern Wild"
Great!!, and the little kid with the "starring role" is fantastic. Paleo beats are also a core of the story
Hugh Jackman-Jean Valjean-for an ex-wolfman,this guy can sing.
Anne Hathaway-Fantine-for the short time that she is on screen (pass the tissues) she steals the movie.
Russell Crowe-Javert-competent.
Eddie Redmayne-Marius-pretty good.
Colm Wilkinson (an ex Jean Valjean) -Bishop-a pretty safe bet.
I'm going back to see this again and again until I get it on Blu-ray.
GREAT movie! I will never forget the little girl in the red coat.Thank you Mr Spielberg.

Saw Zero Dark Thirty and it was boring. I never sat for so long and enjoyed so little. I know the CIA and a ******* ten year office search for clues to finding Bin Laden don't constitute the emotional equivalent of a roller coaster ride, but Jesus Christ. If you're going to make a movie - this might be something to consider in pre-production. I know many people might be interested in the road to OBL, but the appropriate venue may be a White Paper - or a documentary. NOT a MOVIE.
