Watched "The Joy Luck Club"--which I probably haven't had a chance to see again since it first came out. Really enjoyed it.

@firefly,
I liked that too, even though the book was much much better.

@jcboy,
Was it about Colonel Oliver North and his rock and roll band The Swinging Sandinistas?

@tsarstepan,
Cute.

I rented "JUST ADD WATER". Danny de Vito was in it. WHAT a total POS . I want my 90 minutes back.
I think this must have been a "direct to Video" movie.

even now I get nauseated

Last I saw on DVD was the Pusher Trilogy. Depressing yet surprisingly entertaining.

Me and da wife watched "The Grey" tonight. Liam Neeson plays a bereaved husband who is hired on as a sniper for Alaskan oil-rig roughnecks. He shoots the hungry wolves that come trying to eat them regularly. They all go down in a horrible plane crash, and the rest of the movie involves the crash survivors...well, trying to survive - led by Neeson. It has a lot of philosophical musing mixed in, and some scary-ass wolves. I won't give away the end, except to say I didn't like it. It was an entertaining and at times, emotionally affecting.

Ditto. I think we only managed to get through the first 20 minutes or so.

Have you seen The Shooter? He was MUCH better in that.

Watched the hunger games on theater yesterday. I saw this at a preview screening and having never read the books I was unaware what all the fuss is about. Having just seen the film, I am still unaware what all the fuss is about.

I watched Get The Gringo. Excellent film. Non stop action, enjoyed it big time.

I saw "Sarah's Key" last night. It was very moving, and poignant.

Watched 'Chronicle' last night.
A very intense, real-seeming story about 3 high school friends who stumble on some crystal from outer space and gain fantastic powers. And about how absolute power corrupts. When I heard it was filmed in first person like 'Blair Witch', I was going to pass, but I'm glad I didn't. Well done film. (Notice anything strange about the space needle?)

@snood,
Very well done, indeed. We were surprised at how entertaining that movie was and on such a small budget, too!

@Irishk,
The other night Marco and I watched The Grey on PPV. We both quite enjoyed it.

When we put Antonio to bed we will watch one of my all time favorite movies “Sexy Beast”.

@Phoenix32890,
Oh, I didn't realize they made a movie of "Sarah's Key"...I have to see it!
Loved the book!

We watched another James Stewart movie - the Charles Lindbergh story.
My teenager is in love with James Stewart Smile
