We rewatched The King's Speech over the holidays with my parents who had never seen it. Just as great the second time around.

@djjd62,
I cried at the end....and even the hardcore military guy who sat next to me on the plane (when I saw it first) had tears in his eyes...

@CalamityJane,
When the movie ended...

Dad: Well, finally, a good movie comes out of Hollywood!
Me: Um, Dad...about that 'Hollywood' thing...

@Irishk,
I haven't seen "The King's Speech", however I did see and liked this Masterpiece Theatre production of "Bertie and Elizabeth" about George VI and his wife Elizabeth--who outlived him by 50 years--the dvd of which is available at Amazon.

@annis,
I've not seen the film, but I loved the TV series. I've just been watching the last 3 Harry Potter films with the kids.

Saw Puss in Boots over the weekend. It was a decent movie, but I think it was questionable for kids.

Watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire on DVD. Pretty standard Harry Potter fare.

Watch Harry Pottter the last one, have enjoyed them all! Also read all the books which are brilliant!

Presently rewatching all the True Blood series - know it is not a film! But worth a mention!

"Straw Dogs" - a remake of an older movie with Dustin Hoffman and Susan George. About this movie - I want those 90 minutes of my life back.

One of my all-time favorites. I've seen it scores of times. "Do ye know how FINE ye are to me, Mary MacGregor?"

Tonight we watched the movie Contagion on PPV. It had a great cast but I wasn’t very impressed, kind of long and boring.

Just watched City of Ember and Attack the Block this week.

Entertaining, if not timeless.

Just got a notification that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II is being held for me at the library....

@MMarciano,
I saw Godfather 3 last night. I saw the first two ages ago, but never got round to seeing the last one. At least now I understand the references in The Sopranos.

@izzythepush,
Tonight we watched Driver on PPV. Excellent movie. A bit gruesome but very good film!
