@snood,
You might find Split to be disappointing as well. It's along the lines of Unbreakable.

I just watched all the Ocean's films in a row because I'm itching to get back to Vegas!! Plus they are pretty awesome films. Made me want to gamble though so jumped on PlayOJO and then Partypoker to get my fix, oops!

I would like to see an updated version of the movie 9 to 5. Women are still disrespected at work, so this could make a comeback.

@jcboy,
Yes! That would definitely still play in 2017. I would like to see it done a little more 'darkly', with a harder edge to it. Y'know, like when they kidnap the bastard boss, the threat of his getting hurt might be just a tad more ominous.

Finished House of Cards last night. The ending was terrible. It's officially no better than the **** on network TV. I felt like I was watching Scandal or something. I haven't been this disappointed in a TV show since the new Battlestar Galactica decided to flip a switch and force everyone to accept that all the religious nonsense they hinted at was real the whole time. Just a few more days until Game of Thrones.

At least that's realistic! Cool

Sansa's revenge on Ramsay (hungry hounds) was one of the most satisfying scenes I ever saw anywhere.
BIG 'GoT' fan!!!

I'm looking forward to GOT too. Never watched the new HOC, I liked the original, and I don't remember being disappointed by the ending.

@snood,
Ramsay is now enjoying a new lease of life living above Gandalf and the Emperor Claudius.

@izzythepush,
He's also starring in the new Marvel TV series The Inhumans. He's evidently playing a **** again . He's good at it.

@izzythepush,
I don't doubt it. It takes a good actor to make everyone hate you.

@snood,
This brings to mind Michael McKean. He was so funny as Lenny in Laverne and Shirley and David St. Hubbins in This is Spinal Tap, but is so detestable as Chuck McGill in Better Call Saul.

I warched the British HOC after wartching a few seasons of the American one. No offense intended but the Brit version is quaint and tame in comparison. Plus, so far there is no ending so far in the American version, and it's gone well past the Brit story line.

Up until this last season I'd been enthralled by both the story line and excellent acting. I can hope this is just a slump.

Anyway, I heartily recommend it and think you would enjoy it.

@chai2,
I don't watch Americanised versions of BBC, or any other British shows. There's enough original drama/comedy not to bother with rehashed versions of things I've already seen. I didn't watch the American Life On Mars either.

He really was! Until he went up in smoke.
