I just sent him a christmas wish with a nice holiday picture from sunny
California.
Let's hope he'll be home by Valentine's Day.
Done. I sent a really cool download to John Lennon's song Merry/Happy Christmas, wished him a Merry Christmas and thanked him for his service.
Done it Joe. Sent him a photo of kangaroo skin shoes. I wonder what he'll make of that.
Great. Great Great,
Thanks to all of you. and to those just joining us:
Please read the first post of this thread and don't forget to remove the spaces from Elliot's address.

For Jonathan and Elliot's Mom:
I'LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS
I'll be home for Christmas
You can plan on me
Please have snow and mistletoe
And presents on the tree
Christmas Eve will find me
Where the lovelight gleams
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams
I'll be home for Christmas
You can plan on me
Please have snow and mistletoe
And presents on the tree
Christmas Eve will find me
Where the lovelight gleams
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams
Thanks B.

I just sent another one, well, actually the first one, because, like edgar, I screwed up the first time.
And I'm not even from Texas.
OK- Just sent off a greeting!

LOL. If he gets mine before he gets yours, he's really going to be confused.
Mission accomplished.
Thanks, Jonathon Joe(insert something here)Nation, for introducing us to Elliot Mandoza from NYC. Please keep us apprised periodically on how he is doing.
E-mail aweigh.
Joe--
Please keep us posted.
I've sent two christmas wishes so far.
Yes, Joe, would you let us know if you get any feedback from
Elliot?
(Just joining in? Read the first post and send my friend in Iraq a friendly greeting from wherever you are. Watch the spaces...take em out.)
CalamityJane:
Absolutely. Nothing so far, but as you all know, those guys don't exactly work standard hours.
BTW : I told a couple of people what we were doing and they were horrified.
"Gak!" one said (he actually made that sound) "You gave total strangers his email address!!!???!! They could be nuts!! And say terrible things and
goodness gracious!! "
I told them that I trusted the people of A2k a heckuva lot more than I trusted just about anyone.

When I mess up like that at work, I just give them my by now stock answer: "But, I'm old." They forgive me and all is once again well.
I am certain, that no one would fault those poor soldiers for what happened in Iraq. Everyone knows who is to blame, and the one's who don't know,
can't read or write. So there!!
