I like Gore who said early on Bushie betrayed us into war. Betrayed is a strong word. Kucinich is great.
dys, On your "no way" list, how come not Giuliani?

Gore is a nut case, he was off his prozac when he made those statements....or maybe he's just an everyday traitor?

I would never support Giuliani, he wouldn't even be on the long list.
I mentioned my opposition to Giuliani on another thread this week. Plus, I mentioned early on, I don't vote for any Republicans anymore. I did vote for Goldwater and Reagan, but that was a younger, other time.

Vote early
vote often
vote Kucinich.
Yeah! I'm wit ya on all of those.
Kucinich is great. Too bad he doesn't have a snowflake's chance in hell...*sigh*

Absolutely not keryy gore or lieberman although I like gore.
No republican being talked about presently under any circumstances.
I used to think McCain, but no longer. I'll still vote for the candidate that seems to best reflect my values. It doesn't matter which party affiliation they belong to.
McCain lost it when he voted to approve prisoner torture by Bush.
I don't know if he has political aspirations, but Bobby Kennedy Jr is an impressive speaker. If ever he decided to run, I'd support him.
Swimpy, Bobby Kennedy Jr has a great track record.
He spoke here in my small town last month. I was very impressed. I wouldn't want to be on the other side of any case he was arguing.
I like Bobby Kennedy, Jr., very much, but I don't see a political powerhouse in the making here. Perhaps at a later time.

My ideal candidates to actually win the election:
President: John Edwards
Vice President: Barak Obama
Senate Majority Leader: Hillary Clinton

edgar, none of the usual suspects trip my trigger. I'd like to see someone enter from stage left and knock us off our feet.
As much as I like him, c.i., I don't think he's going to make it.

That's why I'd have him for vice president. He would get the experience he lacks and the public would become accustomed to him

Swimipy, Don't write him off just yet; it's still too early to determine that. Obama has charisma that is infectious, because he's smart, articulate, and speaks of gaining back cooperation between the two parties. He's one of the freshman congressman, but knows the history of the old guard where democrat and republican congressmen used to be friends outside of their jobs, and worked to improve our country rather than divide and destroy like the current administration.
We must have hope for the future of our country, and I believe Obama is just the man to get it done. He has the energy and right goals for our country. I also believe in the American People to come together with good leadership.
