The reality tells me that those things happen irregardless of what my "ideal" would be. That's the reason I don't get involved with those issues that I cannot advocate for; the only one I'm advocating for now in the political arena is universal health care. My county, Santa Clara County, California, has universal health care for children. Arnold is trying to get universal health care for Californians; that's within my area of advocacy and action. My brother is a legislator in Sacramento, and although a republican, is the only republican in support of health care for everyone in California.

I believe a healthy citizenry helps all of our citizens. Healthy children do better in school, and therefore helps the future economy of our country.
I won't live "that" long, but we have children who's future depends on the health of our country.

Bartikus:

ci clearly has an egocentric mindset - which of course means that ci would never admit (or even consider) that he is an egocentric. ci believes that he is perfectly entitled to impose his morals on anyone he chooses to (as proven many times on these threads) - yet when this fact is pointed out; he puts the blinders on. And when ci feels that someone else is imposing their morals - he points his finger and cries foul. Simply put - ci chooses to live by different standards than he expects everyone else to live by - and doesn't mind telling them so. He reminds me of the father who shakes his fingers at his son while telling him not to smoke - with a Marlboro stuck between those same 2 fingers.

To try and make sense of this nonsense will drive you crazy.

You are dumb! I do not impose my morals on anyone; I'm only pointing our the flaw in your morals.

What is my "morals?" Please explain it to me, because I have never shared it with anyone - not even my siblings or my wife.

Would your "ideal" be that women/young girls who ask about abortion would get the facts from the abortion clinic?

It is dumb but want to ask again to clarify.

Then you openly admit that women going to abortion clinics cannot expect to get the facts?

Imposter has been forced to admit on more than one occasion that he does not even consider cannibalism to be immoral or wrong in any real sense of the word. It's just a personal choice. Like an opinion.

real, Cannibalism was practiced by some cultures, and even American pioneers practiced it to survive. I'm not the one to tell anyone what's right or wrong with cannibalism; you'll have to ask "them." Immoral is in the eye of the beholder.

Moral: "of or relating to principles of right and wrong in behavior"

ci wrote: "My morals? I only wish to have everybody choose for themselves what they consider "moral" in their life, but also to show pro-lifers their own inconsistent stance."

Do you desire to see more examples of 'your morals'?

I'm standing in front of an abortion clinic holding a sign saying "Abortion destroys a human life"!

Who am I?

A pro lifer?

A pro choicer?

......................................................

I'm CI.....pro (informed) choice for real! 100%

CI is pro life too....he's still alive.

So if Californians included as part of their 'health care package' a provision that the elderly can not receive health care (it's 'universal health care' if , through whatever means , you have no sick folks left, isn't it?), would you shrug and say 'it's not right or wrong, it's just in the eye of the beholder' ?

"If" questions are useless concerning the California proposed universal health care; the laws aren't even agreed to yet.
