The late games are over.

Who was it, brothers and sisters, who sent pm's to Kicky asking him to come back? PM's that asked him gently to come back but later pm's that suggested that we may know someone in Brooklyn who might come "visit" him if he didn't play. And there was some public harrassment here on A2K, also.
So Kicky made his picks and he is at 12-2. Well done, sir. Panzade stumbled a bit in the late games, ending along with Child at 10-4. Everyone else is doing fair to in one case really badly.
By my calculation, Kicky will win the week.

I did NOT send the pm threatening to have his kneecaps broken. I am too much of a Virginia gentleman for that.

I believe you've jumped the gun with that calculation. Panzade and Child are still in it.

I just figured that Indy hadn't been blowing people out all season, and they had to lose to somebody...genius had nothing to do with it. But, I will accept your concession.

And, by the way, with that last Jaguar touchdown, I am officially the winner of the office pool for the second time this season! Another hundred bucks! Sweet!

Here is how the 18 players finished in Week #11. Let me know if there are any errors. I called Kickycan the winner prior to, I believe, the Sunday night game based on the number of correct picks and the choices in the last two games. He said I was premature in my declaration. I don't think I was, unless I scored someone wrong.

Kicky wins the week with a nice tally of 13-3. Well done.
Panzade, in his first appearance of the season finished at 10-6 along with Pantalones, Child, Chiso and Queen Jespah of Randomness.
George, JPinMilw and Sublime did okay at 9-7.
Johnboy, Osso, Liontamer, JPB, Cowdoc, Fbaezer and Tico broke even at 8-8.
Region, at 7-9, suffered through his third losing week in a row.
And poor Cjhsa gets the "There but for the grace of God go I" award for suffering through the worst week of anyone this season: 3-13.
The best ESPN guy was 12-4 while the worst was 8-8.

The Rules for the rest of the season (first draft).

I mentioned before that I have never bothered to lay down any rules for this game. Here is Rule #1 for the remaining 6 weeks of the season:

1) All picks MUST be in by the kick-off time of the 1st game of the week.

And here is rule #2:

2) Players wanting to be included in the YTD standings must make picks in four of the remaining six weeks' games AND they must pick all of the games scheduled for each of the weeks (minus one game each week).

Pretty complex, huh? Here is the logic, if anyone is interested.
The YTD standings for each player is derived by dividing Correct Picks by Games Picked. The problem that arises is if a new player comes in and has a great week and hence ends up with a high winning percentage. Take Panzade as an example. He went 10-6 (.625). If he has another few good weeks he could overtake folks who have been faithfully playing all or most of every week. Despite the text of Rule #2 above, I hope that Pan will abdicate if his score gets out of control.
Kicky has picked in 150 games. Four more weeks would put him at around 210 vs 256 for the good boys and girls who have picked every game.
Is this reasonable?
