The Schedule for Week #10: (and how we've picked 'em through 15 players)

Early Games:
NYJets (4-4 for the season) @ New England (6-2) 0@15
Washington (3-5) @ Philadelphia (4-4) 6@9
Cleveland (2-6) @ Atlanta (5-3) 3@12
Kansas City (5-3) @ Miami (2-6) 13@2 (George and CotL pick Miami)
Green Bay (3-5) @ Minnesota (4-4) 3@12
San Francisco (3-5) @ Detroit (2-6) 6@9
Buffalo (3-5) @ Indianapolis (8-0) 1@14 (George is looking for an upset)
Baltimore (6-2) @ Tennessee (2-6) 13@2 (George and LTX with TN)
Houston (2-6) @ Jacksonville (5-3) 1@14 (George!)
San Diego (6-2) @ Cincinatti (4-4) 10@5
Late Games:
Denver (6-2) @ Oakland (2-6) 14@1 (Guess who?)
Dallas (4-4) @ Arizona (1-7) 12@3
St Louis (4-4) @ Seattle (5-3) 3@12
New Orleans (6-2) @ Pittsburgh (2-6) 12@3
Sunday Night:
Chicago (7-1) @ NY Giants (6-2) 7@8
Monday Night:
Tampa Bay (2-6) @ Carolina (4-4) 2@13 (George and Osso pick TB)

+ total number of points in the Tampa Bay/Carolina game - jes has a low of 17 and CotL has a high of 46

CowDoc and RJB agree on every game with a Monday night tie-breaker of 28 for RJB and 32 for CowDoc.

There's still time to add picks from chiso, Kicky, and others (gus?)

I recruited another supposed player out here, but that was two weeks ago and he still hasn't made any picks. If you want to give him hell, he's registered under the name "slish". Feel free.;-)

Four of George's outside picks are looking good. Now, if he'd only gone with the Jets over NE as well.....

Not a great week for any of us so far...

Through the first 10 games:

jespah is in the lead at 6/4
JPIN and CotL are 5/5
Nine of us are 4/6
fbaezer, LTX, and George are 3/7. All of George's wins were upset wins.

What was Jespah's method this time, the Great Wheel of Randomness?

I got 4 more than I thought I might have before leaving my house to go over to Dys and Diane's to watch a film (and near sobbing my little eyes out for two plus hours). This is good, no tears left for my dismal choices, so I'll just act phlegmatic.

I'd suspected George might be doing well with all his canny choices. Shows my predictions are way off this weekend.

I wonder about the randomness thing. Seems a roulette type wheel would have worked some weeks, and not other weeks...

Most of us did better in the second half of the afternoon. Osso got all four of the late games.

jespah, JPIN, CotL, and osso each have 8 wins through 14 games.
five others have 7 wins, five have 6 wins, and fbeazer is out of the running this week with 5 wins.

We're split 7/8 on the Chicago/NYG game tonight. The outcome of that game will determine who has a chance to be this week's winner.

I need to stop having faith in the Giants.

We're down to three players with a chance to win this week. jespah and jpin each have 9 wins and Carolina picked in tonight's game. Their tie breaker scores are 17 and 28, respectively. Osso, with 8 wins and Tampa Bay picked tonight, is the only other player with a chance to catch jes and jp. She has 31 for a total score in tonights game.

CotL and Sublime also have 8 wins but match jes and jpin with Carolina tonight. Seven of us have 7 wins while fbaezer and Tico limp in with 6.

Thanks for taking over this week, JPB.

I got my second chance to be the weekly winner... hopefully I don't blow it again.

You're welcome, jpin, and you didn't blow it.

Well, that wraps up week number 10 with jpin on top with 10 wins and 28 points in the tie-breaker over jespah who also had 10 wins. The final standings for the week are:

1 jpin (10/6)
1 jespah (10/6)
3 CotL (9/7)
3 Sublime1 (9/7)
5 cjhsa (8/6)
5 pantalones (8/6)
5 rjb (8/6)
5 LTX (8/6)
5 CowDoc (8/6)
5 JPB (8/6)
5 osso (8/6)
12 RP (7/9)
12 fbaezer (7/9)
12 George (7/9)
12 Tico (7/9)

I'll let rjb merge this week's results into the seasonal standings and post that update when he returns (which will be soon, hopefully).

Congrats to jp and better luck next time to the rest of us!
