I've never cared for either, good taste is timeless.
The evidence is pretty clear that Frank is either unwilling or unable to answer my criticism of his simplistic thesis about gnosis . . . so far, all he has offered is denial and insults. One reaches a point at which one naturally suspects that he has nothing else to offer, that he cannot defend his thesis.

You're a slut, Dys...but I love ya.

Truthfully, I do not have enough respect for you or your reasoning to bother to deal with your silliness other than to treat you the way you treat so many other posters in this forum.
And I am having a delightful time doing it.
In fact, better than delightful!

Well perhaps but I'm neither Italian nor Irish (that I know of)
Frank, sweetie, Dys isn't a slut, I am and he loves it.
Frank and Set are two of my favorite characters and I love their arguments, even though they carry on to the point where most of us are saying, "This has been fun but ****, how long can, or will, they carry on like this?"
For so long as Frank is unwilling, or, more likely, unable to answer the criticism of his simplistic thesis, and instead resorts to personal invective, i am more than happy to continue to point out that he substitutes insult for argument.

I stand corrected...I think!

Forever if necessary!

I've dealt with this kind of stuff very successfully with folks who make you and your embarrassingly silly arguments look like dust.

I love when you do that...because you look even more the fool than usual. Which, I might point out, is no mean feat.
If it's so simple, Frank, than deal with the argument and put an end to it. As usual, though, you make assertions without demonstration, and resort to personal invective rather than argument. I submit that you have no other tactic, because you have no other argument.

You wanna "submit" something, Set...I suggest you "submit" most of your arguments to a place where the sun is not likely to get at "em.
That is about what they are worth as arguments.
Oddly, it's good to have your input back here again FrankApisa...

Hey Sturgis. Where you been?????
Here and there. Had a life altering experience a short while back; but, am back now with a vengeance (or at least a changed perspective). Always good to see you here...you make me think, so don't be a stranger.
Yeah good to see you again, Frank. But I confess that I'd rather have Setanta deal with you.

I'll be here. Good to see ya back.

Yeah, JL. He's lots of fun.
Frank and Set... two of my favorite posters, having an argument. Think I'll sit this one out and take a little communion wine. A nice Shiraz or perhaps a Tawny Port.
