Actually it helps to know we are not dealing with a christian here in Mr Red and that we simply dealing with another pauline.

Pauline Christian Moslem Jew, I am all of them, wherever there is truth.

John 4:24
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

crapola, wherever there is truth you shall not find Mr Red for he is hidden in the smoke and ashes of ago of hell fire and damnation, a god of paul. You will never find Mr Red in the beatitudes of jesus. Mr Red walks (in his mind) with the tritinity as if he was the third leg.

Can you imagine one of these American Christian conservatives reading the beatitudes of Jesus out loud!

The fact that some can do it...and not choke to death on the words...is proof positive that hyprocrisy does not disable a person physically.

It is impossible for love to contain hypocrisy.

I read the beatitudes and all other parts of the Bible I read the Koran, the Talmud or even the Iliad of Homer... I will read any book if I think it contains truth.

I am also not part of any trinity of God.

I am part of the creation not the creator.

I am only an image of God's impressions and detail.

A creature to show the creator's character, beauty, likeness and presence...

In the USA only a few years back the "elders at the gate" used to put teens on death row. Now they only clog up the prisons with them and the tax payers pay for teens to live a lifelong sentence in spite of the fact that other innocents died as a result of their heinous crimes.

Do I need to start listing some of these teens in jail?

Remember the DC sniper Frank?

How about some vivid accounts of their crimes here?

Did one kid beat his mother to death with a tire iron?

You should spend a day observing the proceedings in juvenile criminal court sometime Frank.

Rex, Deuteronomy 22:18 mentions stubborn, unruly, and disobedient. Those terms are not remotely comparable to the capitol offenses you list.

Teens can be "unruly" too.

Broken record, dead horse Frank.

Laws are to protect people not kill INNOCENT people.

Sometime laws need to be extreme to deter certain behaviors.

There are times when laws are not free because of the VARIABLE (as opposed to fixed) dangers that are imposed upon or within a culture.

Once those dangers are removed then freedoms can flourish again.

It is called marshal law. I believe the OT was under this sort of condition. Where the NT is NOT.

Ahhh...so you think that makes this passage okay, huh?

As far as you are concerned, if a man has a stubborn and unruly son who will not listen to his father or mother, and will not obey them even though they chastise him...the man should have the kid stoned to death.

Jeez...I never woulda thunk that of you. But you are filled with surprises.

Hope you are having a nice day, Rex.

I hope they are treating you nice wherever they have you sequestered!

Okay...let's suppose you are correct.

Since I can see plainly that Christianity is replete with hypocrites...I must suppose there is precious little love there.
