Today is the big day .
She gets her stitches removed tonight, and depending on the doctors opinion we go for exams as early as tomorrow
or later in the week.

As of today, her face looks like this -

small , itty bitty spot compared to the initial

shewolf,

That is a little bit lower than where I had to have stitches, but it looks good. (And, of course, Bean is lucky to have a mom like you!)

when that hole was open, it was draping over her eye and you could see the white of her eyeball on the side.

<shudder>

it was ugly

Even with her stitches, Bean still has the world's most beautiful eyes.

Its funny,
I look at it now , and I cant imagine how that small of an area was such a big hole.
But the big part of the tear was along the inside of her eye lid.

it looks like NOTHING now compared to the day we took her in.

She is healing like nothing I have seen. :-)

Great news Shewolf. Sounds like she'll be as good as new before you know it.

Now...please keep the noise down in here, as the football's about to start.

Carry on.

Indeed - the way she's healing, you'll be able to return her and get your money back pretty soon - noone'll even notice!

Oh, her eye looks so much better than I even hoped!

It is so amazing how fast kids can heal. I swear, you can almost watch the boo-boos disappear.

Exam today? Or will it be tomorrow?
