my sister is lucky -- she inherited my dad's olive complexion...
Ok... what's an Irish tan? and also... olive complexion means nothing when you hit your 30's apparently! I burned the begeebers out of myself a few weeks ago.. thinking the whole time... "Oh yeah, I've got an olive complexion... I'll be fine! It will turn into a tan after a few days!"
NOT!

I have olive complextion which means for me I can tan very dark, very quickly. I love to feel the sun but I know laying out in it is harmful to the skin. If I don't have a tan I look sick (literally). So, I use a self tanning lotion. People often ask me where I got my tan and I tell them the truth. I also tell them the brand.

We're in the upper 60s today and it is sunny for a change, but still
un-Californian weather.
I get the "Irish tan" too, and there are no Irish in my family. I burn
very easily, have fair skin and get freckles when I'm in the sun
