It's my new hobby. Trying to catch the sunset. Not just any sunset... but THE sunset. This one it was a bit cold... but wow... looking at the sky when I first got there... you never would have guessed it was going to turn out like that! And even though it was a bit cold... somehow looking at it brings warmth. Smile

I'll post a few more pics of different sunsets if you'd like. I have about fifty... lol

Last night I came across an interesting thought. Before the invention of cheap, reliable artifical light it was difficult to rejoice in a magnificent sunset. The magnificence signaled the coming of night and the coming of beasts (four-legged and two-legged) that go bump in the night.

Classic authors glorify sunrise, not sunset.

Don't do anything rash now, Jes. I heard the same forecast you did. Didja notice the temp. is gonna drop in the p.m.? I'm wearing a corduroy jacket over a (long-sleeved) cotton shirt.

I am currently wearing very little. Although the layers will start to come back as time goes on, much like a reverse Sally Rand. I'm a retroecdysiast.
