Any chance of a brief explanation of what these images, I presume they are images, are supposed to conjure up in the readers minds. I think I can guess they are negative but I can't guage just how far they are meant to take us.

Whether or not they are negative is for each person familiar with these screen names to decide. At Abuzz, the web site which, in a way, spawned this one (CdK likely would have done something like this anyway, but recruiting from disillusioned Abuzz members jump started the site), there was a member Massagato, who was know for hysterical and hateful posts, frequently attacking other members in the most scurrilous manner. This same individual was known at another site as Chiczaria.

After this site began, a new member registered, as Italgato. That member was eventually identified as the former Massagato, as well as being identified with the member Chiczaria at the other site. Italgato got banned. Then a new member showed up, Massagato. Massagato got banned. Then a new member showed up, Chiczaria. Chiczaria got banned, and pretty damned quick (i didn't even know he was here until after he got the boot). Then another member showed up, Mortkat--who got banned.

Now we have Bernard. The writing style (complete with all caps shouting and hysteria demonstrating both incoherence and the inability it followed a rational exchange of posts--the member often accuses someone of having said something when in fact they've simply quoted someone else--it happened to me today) is that same, and the MO is the same. Many here now consider Bernard to be Italgato/Massagato/Chiczaria/Mortkat. Bernard has never denied it, and responds (often with the trademark hysteria) when comments are made about any one of those names which don't mention Bernard.

The general sense of long-term, frequently-posting members is that Bernard is also Italgato/Massagato/Chiczaria/Mortkat.

Indeed. Though it's only a chain of evidence ...

OCCOM BILL WROTE:

Thanks for the correction Joe!

BernardR, I am less impressed with your knowledge of the USA than Nimh's (increase by a factor of 100 for a mannerism comparison. )

You may think so, but it you are at all objective, stay tuned when Nimm posts anything about the USA. He thinks he knows about the USA but all he really knows is what he reads in the Socialist publications in the thrid world countries of the Netherlands and Hungary.

There is no question but that this is the same person. He has called my wife skinny instead of squinney, which was Massagato and Italgatps MO, and only him/her/it, he has made reference to my mentally handcapped son cross referencing the remarks with North Carolina incest references which only Massagato /Italgato has ever done. Both Squinney and I have been around since the Abuzz days and interacted with this spook. BernardR is he. End of story.

You read it right. Mr. Imposter--My son told me that Blue Veined Throbber is really BiPolar.

Throbber is complaining about name changes? I have never changed my name. He has!!!

The what? The A2K jury? There can be no jury that does not have a trial of my peers and Snood, Setanta, Nimh, and especially you, Mr. Imposter, are not my peers!( a person who is equal to another in abilities and qualifications.

Why don't you tell the truth, Mr.Imposter. You and some of the other left wingers are frightened to death by my posts because I leave most of you dead or dying on the field.

If I were a non-entity, you would not exhaust so much effort in trying to personally denigrate me.

I am posting now. I will continue to post. If you think you are good enough to completely destroy my arguments whenever I post, do so and you will have rid yourself of an irritant.

The truth is that you can't and you attempt personal attacks.

I will repeat. My name is Bernard. My surname begins with R but I will not reveal it.

Try debating instead of getting in the gutter, Mr.Imposter, or is that beyond your ablities?

Well, again I have to agree with you, Bernard.

You missed a few: there was Bocdaver, Mporter and Septembri too. But he never appeared as Massagato on this site, that was on Abuzz.

You can recognise him by the unavoidable reference to Posner.. sooner or later...

Well. Nimh, are you also one of the posters who is so frightened of my posts that you make personal attacks. I am surprised at you--A PROFESSOR who wishes to silence dissent. You really shouldn't imitate the Quislings of the middle of the last century.

Why don't you just use your massive intellect to totally destroy my arguements one by one? Do you also fear my ideas? If you do, you are no professor but a charlatan.

Absolutely not. I wouldn't dream of it.

I thought up my UN on the spur of the moment when the bloke showing me how to do this stuff asked for one and that's what I blurted out in a moment of divine inspiration.

To use anything else would represent a betrayal of my whole position as also would to even think of doing.

I just love Salammbo so much and Spendius, who I feel sure would have loved to be called Spendi, is my all time hero.

I have others but Spendius is very, very special.

My lower case spendius is the token of my respect.

I hope you are satisfied.

You can bet your every last cent on it and if you can get 20 gets 1 borrow from the bank.
