Dont forget to mention yourself, when you initially wrote "I see the man's point" Razz

I understand your razz face, nimh, but just so everybody understands, here is the complete post:
"Walter, I see the man's point. If you are a lazy rat, or a dumb rat, you could become a mad rat because every other hardworking, smarter rat is living better than you. If you are a rat that is given to class envy, you would prefer all the lazy, dumb rats could live just as well. I know a rat named Karl that has some ideas on how that could be done."

How can you compare one with another. All Presidents are dealing with a different beast.
You might as well compare somebody who smacked an ant with a hammer to somebody wrestling with a monster.

spendi, It goes without saying that all presidents are fighting a different beast. That doesn't preclude the general public and historians from evaluating their performance as president. Some presidents create their own worst problems. That's also part of the evaluation.

I must agree we cannot judge bushs' place in history when he's not even finished his second term.

I would say however that there's plenty of evidence to inidicate that today, on the ground, as president he is ****.

And it is his place in history, not his current status, that is the subject of this thread.

No, I just thought your comment so foolish that a second "A-hole" was in order and it was easier to hit quote then retype it.

Having now gone through the trouble, third time pays for all....A-Hole.

You may be disappointed when your Liberal friends cross your property line and seize your land for the good of the community.

Republican does not necessarily equal conservative.

Democrat does not necessarily equal liberal.

Generally, Republicans are preferable to conservatives and libertarians than Democrats.

Generally, Democrats are preferable to liberals and socialists than Republicans.

Good God CI we find ourselves in synch!

Is the Big One now to hit California?

Will avian flu run rampant across our land?

Will the North Koreans lob nukes on Portland?

Surely when you and I find ourselves in agreement the End of Days is here.

What laws? I thought the main problem with the eminent domain issue has been noted with the landmark Supreme Court decision concerning New London, Connecticut. In a 5-4 decision, it was mostly liberals in the majority, Stevens, Breyer, Ginsburg, Souter, and Kennedy. More conservatives on the court would have defeated it.
