What are you talking about? You claim Asherman is "full of it," yet your remark bears no resemblance whatsoever to what he said. It appears it is you who is "full of it."

The first thing you can do is read her name Chicken Little!

Vietnamnurse ... that tells you shes been somewhere neither you or Ash have been.

Most importantly, it shows that she is no coward, and unlike you, has served 1) Her country 2) in the military 3) in a fukking war zone.

For someone who hasn't got the balls to even show up, let alone be in an armed conflict, you've got a lot of crust challenging anyone. When you crawl out from under your mommies skirts, step up to the plate and get some courage, you may have the right to open your mouth.

Until then, all you can do is hide under mommies skirts, quiver, and piss your pants like the rest of your ilk!!!

By reading the name, "Viennamnurse," I'm lead to believe the poster served in the Vietnam War as a nurse, but that does not tell me he is a "she." But the fact that he/she has served our country in the Vietnam war gives him/her no greater ability to comprehend what Asherman wrote ... that much is obvious. Nor does is insulate him/her from criticism for what they write, so long as it touches upon or addresses the Vietnam War.

The fact that he/she served is commendable, but it does not prove to me that he/she is no coward, just as the fact that I've not served does not indicate that I'm a coward, your blathering notwithstanding. Your constant harping on the fact of my lack of service is tedious, and shows nothing more than the limits of your ability to form an intelligent argument, and is essentially the sum total of your contribution to this site.

Let's all remember that you are the one who proclaimed: "I can assure you that I have no phoney concerns for the military ... the more of them that get killed off ... the better!" and "When I heard about Pat Tillman being killed by friendly fire, I about broke a rib from laughing so hard!" Yep, you truly are a piece ...

Anon,

How do you know the military history of Tico, or Vietnamnurse for that matter. One can choose any nickname they please. Vietnamnurse might, for all we know be a 15 year old computer nerd who has a fixation of a "war" that ended before he was born. Maybe not, but we don't really know, do we? Tico may never have served a day, but then again he may have won a chest full of medals while serving in Delta Force. Maybe not, but do we really know? Should we care all that much? Serving in the military does not make a person's opinion on military matters necessarily better than the opinion of a military historian physically incapable of ever serving. One of the outstanding students of the military has never served and never could serve in Her Majesty's Royal Army.

Lighten up. Try to respond to a persons postings, not who they may or may not be. For what its worth, in earlier times only those who served in a State's the military was considered a "full citizen". Hopefully, we are beyond that now ... though I admit that if some posters had ever served they would less likely to mouth silly ideas about war and the military.

Since she's a bit longer on this site than you, Tico, and has been on ABUZZ even a couple of more years ... well, many here know her, not only from the mentioned sites.

Tico,

Surely Anon never said, "I can assure you that I have no phoney concerns for the military ... the more of them that get killed off ... the better!" and "When I heard about Pat Tillman being killed by friendly fire, I about broke a rib from laughing so hard!"

I'm led to believe that Anon is a wounded veteran, and it is hard to conceive that a soldier would applaud the deaths of his comrades in arms. Friendly fire isn't something to joke about either, it has in the past killed almost as many as enemy fire. No, no I can't believe that Anon would take such a stance if he received honorable wounds in his country's service.

I'm sure Anon will clear the whole matter up promptly and to everyone's satisfaction.

Yeah, I understand he's a wounded veteran, but he did indeed say the above.

Chickenheart,

But at least I SHOWED UP! At least I HAVE EARNED the right to voice my opinions! That's more than you can ever say!! You will forever be a chickenhawk, a no show, a mouth with no backbone, and you will always lack the courage of your convictions! I consider your disdain a badge of honor!!

Taking comments out of context shows just what little integrity you have. You constantly show your self centered approach to living, your intellectual dishonesty, and most of all, your bankrupt morality. With citizens like you, it's no wonder this country has become detestable.

I've tried to do that with a Topic, which was deleted by the moderators. Chicken Little here is the only one that brings it up now!

So, Anon ... put the record straight. There is a link that shows you did indeed make the quoted remarks. Would you explain your apparent willingness to see our soldiers killed in large numbers? Why would anyone find it amusing that an American hero died in a friendly fire incident? Those sort of remarks one has come to expect from the Left, and from those who presumably never served in the military.

Steve, in re. my improper reference to the British Army ... Mia Culpa, mia maxima culpa! I'll probably cry myself to sleep tonight. If I'm not here tomorrow, it will be cause I roled over in my sleep and drowned in the tears caught in my pillowcase.

Anon, the thread may have been removed, but your words are still obviously around ... and they are on the face of it, shocking. Please do straighten out the record.

Your military service didn't earn you the right to come onto this board and voice your opinions, except in your little mind.
