No, it was written tongue-in-cheek by a person who recognizes that getting health care for free is more attractive than paying for health care. It is mostly liberals who seem to push that particular philosphy, however, so, on that basis, we might conclude the letter was written by a liberal.
However, given the demographics of A2K, however, where the liberals outnumber the conservatives two or three to one, and considering the distribution of the poll for this thread, we see a good illustration that immigration policy is not a liberal/conservative issue but rather a practical, common sense issue.
