So far as I know, most Irish, Italians, and Hispanics are Caucasian, as most Americans define caucasian, though there will frequently be identifiable ethnic distinctions between these and still other groups. My 'list' was intended to illustrate that the pro-enforcement group includes everybody in their policy rather than one specific group, but I suppose that was too subtle a distinction for some.

No difference except that all Hispanics are not Mexican nor are all Mexicans Caucasian or even of Hispanic origin. "Mexican" to me identifies citizens of a particular country, not people of a particular 'race'.
