What's with the harmonica...?

When they were making the final decision on who got to go to Hollywood they filmed everyone walking into the room where the judges were. Taylor had his harmonica out and strolled in playing a blues tune. It was awesome.

the big news from jail from Picklers dad is that everyone is rooting for her and he gets out in May and is ready to establish a relationship with his daughter. (translation... he thinks she's going to have some money) Not very big news......

Well Bella, I'd say if Bucky doesn't knock his next performance out of the park, he's probably gone. Lisa has a great voice. Just wish she'd find the right music to show it off.

I love it when she does the torch songs but the judges don't seem to agree.

Lisa is not good enough. Her voice is great but she doesn't have the stage presence some of the other have. At least I don't think she does.

But I think you are right about Bucky.

Oh I agree with you there. I guess that's where her being so young and inexperienced comes in. For me, Taylor still has it all.

For the women, I like Mandisa. She's got an awesome voice and a smile that comes from the heart.

I wish I could see Elliot in the light others do. I just can't get into his style I guess.

Elliot...I have never liked him much but the last performance was awesome.

Mandisa really can sing but I don't think she will be the next Idol. I think it will be Katherine or Kelly, and I think that because of they way they look. Sad but true...this country is a country of visual snobs.

That's what everyone is saying about Elliot and I probably enjoyed that performance the least. My husband says that was a very complicated song and he did an amazing job, but it just didn't do it for me.

I understand about the Katherine or Kelly thing. That is my only con about this. I realize that looks have to be at issue because of being in the public eye but I think the talent should carry the looks, not the looks carry the talent.

I think it's pretty awesome that these contestants get to do this. They are getting a chance so many haven't and won't. Kind of evens things out for me.

The music business is so cut throat. Just being involved in the small way I was when my husband performed was more than enough for me for a lifetime.

I heard something about that Chris guy on what passes for the news last night. They say he stood there tuesday night while the judges gushed over how great it was that he took the song "I walk the line" and made it his own, even though his version sounded exactly like the version that the band "Live" did a while back. He didn't credit them for this "new" version at all.

That doesn't really bother me, but it goes to show what I've thought about him from the start. I think he has a real good voice but he sounds just like every other alternative rocker out there, which is why I don't like him that much.

I'm sort of pulling for Kellie the dumbass and Katharine "jiggling boobs" McPhee, although right now I think Paris is the frontrunner.

but that is what the show is about,
putting someone in mainstream radio who will float away with all other like sounding voices.



besides that, he is sexy as hell..
