Well the Graceland segment was interesting and I think Taylor and Elliott were the winners. Both Kat and Chris failed to move me, but Simon (who I love) is so obviously prejudiced against Taylor, that could affect the vote. No clue who will leave tonight.

I think Elliot was great last night. He's still my favorite. I don't know if he was good enough to stay, though, only because I don't think he has as strong a fan base. Kat sucked, but I'm pretty sure her fans won't desert her because of it. Same with Chris. So it's either Taylor or Elliot tonight. I had thought Elliot would go this week, but now I'm not so sure. I wish I could be sure like president Bush is about victory in Iraq. He obviously has a clear plan for victory.

If people are honest and base their votes according to last night's performances, Katherine will definitely go home. Hound Dog was ok, but she forgot the words. She so oversang the other song it was sickening. I think she really was at a disadvantage being a woman and having to do Elvis songs but that woman has talent. She had so many songs to choose from and she made two bad choices.

Chris was awesome on Suspicious Minds. My all time favorite song! I was mesmerized. But that second song was, well, WHAT WAS THAT??!! Shocked

Elliot has hit his niche. If only he could have found it earlier and kept it up throughout the competition I would vote for him. Yes, even over Taylor. Embarrassed

Taylor was, as usual for me, fantastic. I know he dances funny! I don't care. He makes me want to get up and dance. He feels the music. He has soul. I was so impressed with the way he did In the Ghetto. He made it his song and to do that with an Elvis song? Awesome.

But, sorry Kickycan, I say Katherine should go home. But, don't worry. I'm sure she'll end up with a record contract anyway. :wink:

You know, Katherine always sounds better in the rehearsals than when she performs. What's the deal with that? Last night, I swear the sound was messed up on her second performance.

Also, when they did the playbacks before voting started, they chose the end of her song which was pitchy and icky. Why? Do you suppose that Idol is (Gasp!) rigged?

It is obvious Kat had a stronger fan base than Chris. I definitely thought Chris or Kat should have been the bottom two tonight but I do think Kat is the stronger of the two so I don't feel too badly about the vote. Taylor and Elliott both absolutely deserved another shot.

I'm not sure about Taylor getting that extra song to shine though unless Elliott and Kat get a similar chance later on. It didn't feel fair.

My money is still on Taylor to be the Season Five American Idol though.

I actually got a bit scared when they asked Taylor to sing. I thought, "Oh no! He will sing and then they will tell him he is going home!" Whew!

I still say Taylor is an all around entertainer and not just a singer. That's what I like about him. I'm with you, Foxfyre. Though I imagine all three left standing right now will get some sort of record deal. :wink:
