Tapdancing topless would be very ouchie I'm sure...

A friend of mine is actually a tapdancer by profession, she teaches it at schools and performs - every year she/her group takes part in the Parade festival, for example, which takes place in the four main cities every year - for that piece alone they start preparing well, about now, or earlier already ...

I couldnt see her performance last year of course but I saw it the year before, very modern / agressive - about as far from Fred and Ginger as you could imagine ... like a real musical instrument.

Interesting - but no, ouch, not something to do topless!

Its funny, she studied to be a social geographer, focus on georgraphic information systems, was good too - but she developed RSI, so had to stop working with computers - and now, nine years later, she's a dancer!

Naked is really less trouble. Wet costumes are a nuisance.

wet? is it really wet? i'm thinking of just a tan tanktop that i'll wear without the straps, or a tube top... you know. but if the rest of the girls in the crew are going topless, then i dunno... but a tube top cannot be much...i'll look around.

i can't stop thinking about the day my boss will come see the show. i think i need a tube top at least for that one. ack!

Some sort of a strapless or spaghetti strap beige leotard - with painted nipples and other shading, etc. - would possibly more visible than the real thing(s).



And there could be laws about being topless. Just sayin'.
