But don't forget guys. To the liberals, the fact that we're unhappy with this kind of wacko liberalism means that we're the unhappy ones. Smile

I keep forgetting that in BizzaroConservativeWorld.... being "unhappy" means you are actually "happy".

In the real world it is kind of hard to be happy if you are unhappy. Laughing

Oh, okie... Don't you get it it? They LOVE the US (it's just people that don't agree with them or their political ideologies they hate). The country is great! (Republicans are scum). The President is evil incarnate! (Until he thinks like they think.) They are the very models of Patriotic Americans (in their own minds) and should never be questioned about such topics. Shame on you for calling our fellow American patriots anything less.

But how are they patriotic for a country they believe was formed by a bunch of evil Europeans arriving on the scene of peace loving indiginous peoples that were living here in perfect harmony with nature when they arrived, only to be raped, pillaged, taught how to scalp, given smallpox and all the other European scourges, and don't forget how the Christians forced the Indians into their religion or else. Don't forget the evil capitalism and imperialism they brought with them, including the concept of "owning" land. Remember, the indians believed nobody could "own" land, that it belonged to all peoples and animals.

This all leaves me with something of a question. Why do the liberals love the Europeans now?

Europe is more liberal than the US. Why else?

You could just as easily turn this idea by replacing Republicans with Democrats, President with Anti-War Protestors, UN or ACLU (although if you use ACLU, then you must replace evil incarnate with irrelevant and if you use the UN, you must replace evil incarnate with "organisation that takes away our God-given right to be American).

There are groups of Republicans that are equally as guilty, as the LIberals you so mock.

Repubs are facing the next election with Bush's ratings sinking close to Nixon's -- they are going to jump off Bush's boat like those trying to save themselves in the Titanic sinking.

Isn't it great that conservatives don't depend on somebody winning an election in order to be happy?

You wouldn't know it from all the whining from conservatives during the Clinton years.

Hell, just go read the aftermath of the election threads to see how happy the last couple of elections made a lot of conservatives on this board.

Laughing Amigo. During the Clinton years, the conservatives were on double doses of Prozac.

I never took Prozac. I'm not on anything, even when Clinton was in office. I will admit I sleep a little better at night knowing we have adults in the White House now. We don't have people cavorting with and giving away nuclear technology to the Indonesian mafia and Chinese Military in exchange for campaign funds and who knows what else. Instead of Prozac, I listened to Rush and then went fishin and camping and forgot about it all.

P. S. No wonder some of the posts here don't make sense here if the libs are all on pot. I should have known that.

Notice it's the pot that's affecting the liberals, not the Bud. With the conservatives in my area, it's Prozac mixed with martinis. Or Chardonney.

We have adultishness run rampant in the White House, a crazy mix of fundamentalist new born Christian and chicken hawk.

Bush is no better, then. He's giving nuclear technology to India, a country with known hostilities to Pakistan, which also has nuclear technology.

And he's turned a blind eye to the military dictatorship in Pakistan, more strange-beyond-belief bedfellows that makes Sadaam even seem more like a small fish. They were cowards -- they went after the most vulnerable and smallest fish to prove something. It's only proven that the are idiots.

Being Canadian means some of your insider jokes fall outside my realm, but I do get to see an amusing big picture for time to time.

From "The Music Man" where the character was also the classic enabler. It don't think this is going to end with a big brass band, however. Perhaps some amateur bagpipe players cranking out sour notes for the end of the regime.
