Soz, I guess I didn't.
I sang the Czech song, the one I was most comfortable with. It was amazing. The stage fright really opened my voice and gave me a tiny bit of vibrato... I couldn't recognize my voice at all. And I was really proud not to let out any false notes - it's not the easiest tune to carry, but, like littlek says, I operate best under stress.
How about Dagglepuss Maraka? That has a ring to it, and I would remain loyal to the a2k folk.

Congratulations--on the role and on beefing up your resume.
how about Mag Daraka?
i am sooooo getting your autograph!
Or Raz Doroka (which means 'once a year' in Slovak). Sounds good, ay?
(from what I have heard "once a year" does not describe you very well)
Congratulations on the excellent job you did at the tryout, dagmaraka!
I hope the theater company confirms with you soon.
Raz Dazzlemar?
<thanks, wandel... if it's not yet obvious, i hope so, too. and am quite excited already...>
no kidding. definitely nocturnal.
Aren't THEY going to the ones coming up with your nickname?
tits and beer to you, dags...
thanks, pdog...though i've got a bit of both already.
I think he meant "Tits and Beer"... for the nickname .
I like it, but then again....
actually, slivovica (plum brandy) has nicer rings than beer. we call them 'chains' - the higher the quality, the more rings it leaves on the glass.
(just meant tits and beer, actually -- congratulamatations)
