Thank you, Joe. So I did what you suggessted...I did not realize that, if I had two 1B, one of them would have to be assigned to the bench by hitting BN in the drop-down for that day.
But it was mentioned that the starting line up is 16 players. I hit the submission button with 20 chosen and Yahoo accepted it, I guess (two players have no opps next to their names for April 3rd) Why was 20 seemingly accecpted?

I'm counting 17 total starting players (eight position players plus an extra catcher and a utility player + 7 total pitchers).
I'm not sure why yahoo would accept it... you should get a warning if you exceed the maximum number of players allowed at any given position.

No red warning from Yahoo, so I will watch how my picks go until I see if there is any problem after Monday,
Time to start needling fbaezer. Would yall prefer trash talk here or on the Yahoo site? I like here myself.

Don't do it, jespah. It's a trick.
Just ... say ... no.

BTW, I was wrong about having 20 guys playing Monday. 2 are idle and 4 are on the bench so I am indeed at 16. I set my lineups for the week starting Monday, forgetting that there is one game on Sunday. fbaezer's Raiders get a bit a head start with Cleveland vs the White Socks. Too much trouble to reset things.

You have 17 players active, RJB -- which is what you should have. I checked to make sure you didn't somehow have 16.

After a shortened rain soaked game last night, the Ticomaniacs find themselves in a 2 point whole... which, undoubtedly, is about to get a whole lot deeper.

Jespah, I offered you a trade for Felix. A #1 Starter and a starting 2nd baseman. I wasn't sure what else to offer you... your team is pretty solid all the way around. Let me know if you are looking for a certain position.

Hmm will consult with my Ass't. Mgr (er, I'm married to him).
Was fun watching the Cle-WS game last night. Thome came up so I said, "Batting-batting-batting-for-for-for-the-the-the-Boston-'ston-'ston-Puppies, Jim-Jim-Tho-Tho-Thome!"

It is fun isn't it? A lot of people complain that fantasy baseball destroys loyalties to any particular team, but I think it just makes watching baseball more fun. You learn a lot about other players I think.
Plus, I still root for my team but if they loss to a pitcher that I started that day... it helps soften the lose a little

And that was a heck of a home run he had.
And then I was able to watch Sizemore pop out at the top of the next inning. Less than exhilarating .....

Thanks for my new avvy, JP.
But I'm still going to kick your tail this week, despite my opening day jitters.

Not a problem, Tico.
We should be off to a fast start after todays games. I have a full lineup today with all my big gamers starting.

Well, I think my guys had a pretty good day. The hitters hit pretty well ( except for one guy who struck out 3 times) and Curt Schilling went 7 innings giving up two runs. Fbaezer made picks in the Sunday game so I start in the hole.

The Rappin Rednecks, The Boston Puppies and ShmokeanaPancake are off to a heck of a start. They all have at least a 10 point lead after lastnights games.
The Ticomanics managed to squeak out a one point lead over myself due mostly to barry Zito's 1.1 inning 7 ER, 4 BB, 47.25 ERA start yesterday... so much for being an ace.
There is a long way to go though... anything can happen.

I keep trying to add someone on waivers (I'm one man down because pitcher Todd Jones is on the D/L, and I can't seem to be able to do it. Argh.

Well, I just picked someone up from free agency, and I had to hit "Add this Player" about 3 times before it actually added him to my roster.
And he does not show up on my roster today, but does if you look at tomorrow's lineup.
