Sorry about the trees, Dys. Late Spring storms kill budding trees.
I hate it.
About the doggie bags. They do come in handy. My doggies are my kids. Bring home a doggie bad (from the right end that is) and put it in the refrigerator at my house, and tomorrow it will be gone. All that's left of it is a dirty plate in the kitchen sink.
Ahh, how lovely that is Lola. A dirty plate in the sink. Domestic bliss
tastes awful, but it's really "cool"
Geez; how did that happen, wrong thread!!
O.K., right thread, wrong location, meant for Dys...
(or dat)
Don't worry OaK, I don't wash it. Somebody else does. :-)
pay someone to do it. It's a good job.
Easy, put names on the dishes.........
Bo, that wouldn't help at my house, unfortunately.......
poor things, I'm afraid I've neglected to do that, Bo. They're a bunch of little grubbers. But I love em, sweet dears.
McTag. I got a severe warning when I accessed your link. What th?
And what's all this baggie bit? Wow, I gotta catch up.
Bo was it Lola's legs that sidetracked you onto this soap box and away from your intended destination
Where was Bo going before the digression?
probably going to the pub or maybe .......................?????????
Letty, I found that quite innocently searching for information about "Star of India" and it had some interesting 1940s-period song titles, is all. There were songs from both sides, including some nazi songs I suppose, and that's why there is a warning on it.
I like "Abdul Abulbul Amir", do you know that? Also some not very delicate marching songs were there, including "Mademoiselle from Armentieres" which we know better as "The German Officers Crossed the Rhine", a rugby-barroom song in this country.
Ah, the rich tapestry of life.
McTag...oh, yes. I remember that along with Torpedo Jim...my Gawd...yes, my friend, a tapestry...Just like the one Odyesseus' wife wove every night then unraveled each morning...
I've been known to come unraveled in the morning meself.
There are some good soap boxes, all of which need to be paid more attention. Lola, the enormous amount of food served in restaurants is disgraceful. At least much of left over food in the kitchens goes to homeless shelters.
Oops, Diane; I hope not; at least in Canada any left overs must be discarded by strict health regulations; even feeding scraps from plates to the local dogs could get an owner in trouble! And, my guess is that thinking a restaurant would bear the cost of shipping out "extra" food to shelters is rather optimistic, at best!
But, don't get me wrong, nice idea!
