kuvasz,
My remarks were aimed at anon, not you.
As for who is reasonable,I have not called you or anyone else names, like you are doing.
Is that the reaction of a normal, rational person?

So,do you fear my opinions,or are you just bigoted towards everyone that isnt like you?

There is nothing to fear from lunatic ramblings other than that the thread will be derailed.

Lets discuss your opinions MM. You seem to think that it is only a crime if Dems do it. The overwhelming evidence is against certain Republicans at this time, Bob Ney, Duke Cunningham. Delay is certainly a person of interest to the FBI. Care to point to any Dems that took money from Abramoff to begin with? I have searched the FEC website. No such contributions are listed there.
(Abramoff did contribute personally $3000 to the Bush/Cheney campaign.)
Lets talk about what we ACTUALLY know MM. Not some made up "Dems did it too" that you can't provide any evidence to support.

Interesting side note. I am sure I saw a news brief over the weekend that Cunningham may have worn a wire to GOP meeting as part of his deal with prosecutors.

I know blatham can speak for himself a whole lot better than I can, but I believe that blatham posted that about ignoring gungasnake in response to his last post about the Pakistani kid.... and that wild conspiracy theory being an excuse to condone warrantless wiretapping, he further went on to say most Americans would agree with him, when according to the poll I just posted a link to, it is not the case.

Stop trolling up my thread. The topic is the NSA spying case, not clinton, not other posters.

Today is the beginning of the Alito hearings; if nothing else, it seems as if there will be many, many more questions relating to the balance of executive power than there previously would have been.

Let me be quite clear.
It is a crime if anyone did it.
I am only saying that before the dems start acting so sanctimonious, that maybe they should clean up their own house.
Does the name Rostenkowski ring a bell?
Or that NJ Senator that got busted for the same thing?

What about that dem from Ohio that is in prison for illegal gifts and for recieving kickbacks?

Are you going to tell me that dems NEVER accepted bribes, kickbacks, illegal money from lobbyists, etc?

Who said Dems never did it?

Rostenkowski went to jail. The same fate should await any other Congressman that sold his office.

I don't see you demanding that the GOP clean up their own house instead of attacking the Dems. You seem to have a HUGE DOUBLE STANDARD there MM.

You are the one that keeps bringing up Dems but then you demand that Dems not talk about the GOP while at the same time you refuse to investigate any of the allegations against GOPers. I'm not sure if I made your double standard big enough yet.

Wouldn't that be a conflict of interest for you?

Its not that I refuse to investigate the repubs.
Its more a matter of the fact that the investigation is still ongoing.
I dont KNOW what the facts are going to show, and I dont want to assign blame or convict anyone without seeing the charges first.
Unlike many on the left,I am not willing to cast a blanket accusation against every repub in congress based on the actions of a few.
I will be the first to demand resignations from every repub member of congress that is involved, once it is PROVEN that they are involved.

MM, you could always start your own thread about perceived Democrat sanctimony.

But your kind much prefers derailing others' threads.

You apparently havent read the whole thread.

Besides,if you really are so offended, then may I suggest you go to the "Bush backers" thread and tell all the Bush haters to leave that thread.

Since you wont do that, buzz off!!

Maybe you need to start spending some more time with adults? Maybe then things won't be translated into baby talk in your head.

*looks around*

Only one acting like a child here seems to be you. You complain about someone derailing a thread by derailing the thread... Interesting strategy you got there.

Now, go change a diaper and leave the conversations to the grown ups.

Grown-ups aren't afraid of monsters under their beds, so you fail the test.

But you ARE afraid of the monster under your bed that is Bush and the NSA.

I guess you are not grown up after all.
