Some are quicker than others, that's for sure. Slick of you to catch that, LTX.

Spoiled a bons mots I'd been working toward, though

And that's all I'm going to say about that.

What did I ever do to you, Thomas Confused

Hey Snood,

I'm glad you asked that question because I have no clue where that came from either.

BTW, were you able to find that thread you asked about?

Don't worry Momma - I'm not so proud that I'll go along with the never ending party without asking questions, when things get strange...

Defensive? Inadequate? Well lemme see.... Is that the same as the feeling one gets when confronted by a snotty, know-it-all, pain-in-the-ass teen? Because this is real close.... Okay, - I'll try not to feel defensive and inadequate.

Once again, the question of the intelligent vs the stupid has come up. Personally, I think that defining someone as stupid is stupid. Intelligence testing is quite unreliable so I don't propose that we all take a test. IQ's don't tell the whole story.

What we have here is a dilemma of great magnitude. Some may say that those with the biggest head are the most intelligent. Others may say that those who don't have to shout out their intelligence are the most intelligent. Perhaps we should all measure our cranium and send in the results. The biggest head takes the prize and while they are gone to pick it up, the rest of us can discuss things at our own level... whatever that is.

Wunnerful. Oh, not that I really have anything planned that would mitigate against patience in the matter of your intent to control your feelings - just curious. When may we expect to see that development begin to kick in?

I personally don't care for it when someone calls someone else stupid, less intelligent, etc., because they don't happen to agree with them. Idea

What is really stupid to me is when someone doesn't understand something and asks for clarification and then is accused of being stupid for not understanding in the first place. Seems to me, the least stupid thing to do is to ask. At least that sounds pretty intelligent to me. Laughing

Intrepid,

About the same time your personality becomes burdened with the weight of humility.

Perhaps she could start her very own church. I understand there is good money to be made in that field.
