I submit such is not the case; in that Setanta never has done any such thing, you are projecting, imposing your preference and prediliction over reality. Setanta has been harshly critical of Rex' (and others') style and substance as posted on these boards, but not of the person of the individual who's interactions here have been subject to his approbation and negative assessment. Close to the edge sometimes, mebbe, but not technically over that edge, at least so far as I've noticed with specific reference to Rex. Of course, its always possible I've missed something.

Setanta has in the past had one of those schoolgirl gushing thrums over my addressing him as Set and I have seen him have them elsewhere as well.
He has rules for himself and rules for others which is a behaviour pattern consistent with the schoolgirl mental condition as is an intemperate and sentimental love of particular animals and a need to find methods to be both different from the mass of humanity and superior to it at the same time.
His basic problem is that of having only a very limited range of insult which eventually becomes quite similar to the drone of a distant chain saw.

FYI, Yitwail, when someone addresses me as a fool, they pretty much deserve what they get.

Spendi is obsessed with schoolgirls--i suspect its a product of his frustrated desire to get into their nickers. It's a playground trick to hope to get my goat by referring to me in terms such as schoolgirl, and is the sort of thing one would expect from a dypsomaniac. I certainly hope Spendi isn't becoming a dypsomaniac, because it is difficult enough to read the twaddle he puts out there as it is.

That partially explains why you're always in a goofy tit-for-tat with someone, oh puffy and bigworded Mr Setanta - because you get some twisted sort of jollies at it. I say only "partially", because it doesn't explain why you always insist on trying to justify your gratuitous nastiness by pretending you have been deeply wronged somehow. If its just the way you get your geriatric kicks, why don't you forego the pretensions of engaging in any kind of reasonable discussion, and concentrate on formulating your next stupid insult? Save everyone time and save your energy.

Many of us can display daunting levels of sound and fury--but most of that ilk (of which I am an ilkster) require some identifiable provocation before doing so. Set does not. The level of pompous bombast from that quarter is unequalled.

This is obviously a good example of two people seeing the same thing --yet getting diametrically opposing viewpoints from it.

From what I have seen, she's been very kind, understanding and she's exhibited a Herculean attempt to be pleasant in the face of extreme rudeness and insult.

Maybe you'll give us some examples of her offensive, holier than thou statements aimed at members. I'm sure we can all provide offensive, demeaning statements aimed AT her.
