I Say We Duke It Out!

I don't ever check the poll. It doesn't matter a whit. Majority opinion cannot conjur a God any more than it can dispel one. You two with the childish jabs sound like grade school children trying to gang up on the one that's different. I don't like setanta's MOAN but am tired of calling Momma Angel Momma (it sort of insults my mother). A combination of Momma and Angel = mangel, or mangle, in keeping with the quality of her posts.
I've been doing a pretty good job on a construct of the human mind, one that insults our intelligence.

Methinks Edgar is somewhat confused. The childish jabs and inuendos are his. He must feel inferior since he considers himself different and that he is being ganged up on. He is not being ganged up on at all. If he can prove what he says, then why would he feel put upon. It is not only Momma Angel and I that have posted to him.... he must feel that we are, somehow, a threat to him. I certainly hope not. I wonder how Momma Angel insults Edgar's mother? It could be the momma part, but since he does not believe in God or religion, it could not be the Angel part. Again, I am confused. Maybe I am the idiot that Setanta says I am.

Then, on the other hand, why would Edgar come into a thread that is titled Duke it Out if he does not want to do that? It must be 2 sided... not 1.

Sorry, Setanta. Over the course of the past several months, I was sure that I had been called an idiot. If that is not the case, I offer an apology for implying that you did. Intrepid thinks his feckless attemt at reverse psychology will give me a good dose of my own medicine. Also, he fails to recognize that duking it out refers to atheist/religious wars. As for my nickname for Momma Angel, that's our little go around.

I didn't even know that there was a atheist/religious war. Do we have to sign up or anything? I wouldn't want to be breaking any rules of war or anything. Do we get uniforms and shiny new boots? Do we need a helmet. I sure hope that we do not have to get weapons... I don't want to be hurtin nobody or nuthin.

I guess that Edgar doesn't want anyone else to reply, on a very public public forum, when they do not agree with him. 'Ceptin, of course if it be another atheist and maybe even some agnostics.

Please do not refer to me as Mangle. I don't like Mr. Setanta referring to me as MOAN either and have asked him not to do it, but he still does. I am respectfully asking that you do not do that. ehBeth calls me MoAn and I have no problem with that at all. Perhaps you and Mr. Setanta could use that Please let's not ridicule others for their userids. You don't have to call me Momma. I don't have a problem with that at all Mr. Edgar!

It's MOAN's intent to annoy people as much as possible with the idiotic use of "emoticons"--just another measure of her christian virtue.

I don't yell at the dogs--being far more sensitive to the feelings of others than humans are, dogs don't need to be yelled at to get their attention and to attain an end with them.
