Mesquite,

Think what you will think. I know why I am doing it. I have no anger for anyone. If you cannot understand how I can use humor and lightheartedness to get a point across, that's fine.

And there you go again with the "dadburn" type of language. I prefer to take that as your being humorous and lighthearted.

If they irritate someone then that is their problem. I do it to add inflection to what I am saying. I have made a little joke scenario out of being addicted to Smileys. Some have found it quite humorous. There are those that won't. Do you ask others if they call God names or ridicule someone because they have beliefs if they do it to irritate?

I do not care what you call me, Mesquite. I forgive you.

I think now you are getting it. If someone gets upset because I refer to the god depicted in the bible as lower than whale droppings then that is their problem. I have no problem justifying any adjective that I may use in reference to biblical scripture.

Mesquite,

Just repeating what I have been told so many times. And thank you so much! You walked right into that one!http://users.pandora.be/eforum/emoticons4u/happy/059.gif

So, you mean that perhaps the atheists, non-believers, etc., might also need to get a thicker skin? Gee, imagine that. We finally agree on something.http://users.pandora.be/eforum/emoticons4u/happy/050.gif

I could not agree more, and she's suckered Intrepid into joining her. What is more disgusting though, is the smarmy, phony christian love line of BS she peddles along with it.

Mr. Setanta,

And how was your day, sir? I hope you had a good day.http://web4.ehost-services.com/el2ton1/heart.gif

It's a shame, Mr. Setanta, that you can seem to see that I have no anger for you anymore. But, that's ok. I don't feel bad anymore about getting into arguments with you.http://web4.ehost-services.com/el2ton1/santa.gif

snood,
I made no mention of family members and neither did edgar. That was lash that switched to personal family bashing which I do think is a horse of a different color.

You apparently have no qualms about hitting on political ideology no matter how dearly it may be held by others. I see little difference between bashing a sitting president or a depicted deity such as biblegod. There is ample justification for both and those that are too thin skinned to take it should not be participating IMO.

Yeah, mesquite - I know you and edgar didn't directly say "family members", but let's not be coy - the whole point of your bringing up my bush-bashing is to put it on the same level as bashing someone's God or family. I just don't think they are the same. If I felt equally as strongly about Clinton as I did about my family or my God, then I guess I could buy what you're saying. Or, if anyone directly informed me that they held their feelings about their political representatives as dearly as they did their family or their God, I would have to give that due consideration. But, as it is, all I have is your attempt (weak and badly diguised as logical) to make completely incongruent things seem similar for the sake of making the point that its somehow alright for edgar or anyone else to make juvenile jokes about Jesus.

Mr. Edgarblythe,

Do you honestly think that Jesus would laugh at some of the things that have been said about Him here in these threads Question

Really? Hmmm. I think the references to goats and sex might not seem so funny to Him Idea (Not saying you said it, just that it's been said.)
