You apparently have no qualms about hitting on political ideology no matter how dearly it may be held by others. I see little difference between bashing a sitting president or a depicted deity such as biblegod. There is ample justification for both and those that are too thin skinned to take it should not be participating IMO.
Yeah, mesquite - I know you and edgar didn't directly say "family members", but let's not be coy - the whole point of your bringing up my bush-bashing is to put it on the same level as bashing someone's God or family. I just don't think they are the same. If I felt equally as strongly about Clinton as I did about my family or my God, then I guess I could buy what you're saying. Or, if anyone directly informed me that they held their feelings about their political representatives as dearly as they did their family or their God, I would have to give that due consideration. But, as it is, all I have is your attempt (weak and badly diguised as logical) to make completely incongruent things seem similar for the sake of making the point that its somehow alright for edgar or anyone else to make juvenile jokes about Jesus.
