I don't KNOW about ghosts, gods, goblins, God, gremlins. I have hopes and beliefs - but not knowledge.
I'm fierce about my family.
Some people are born to attack others when knowledge fails.
No one likes something that is important to them being attacked. It's just not very respectful. I just think we can all be a bit better than that, can't we.

I agree with Lash (someone mark the date) that it's hard to understand why someone would gratuitously attack something so obviously important to someone.
It's the same to me as if I say "your mom likes porn", and then "but I'm just joking".
And if you say it's just attacking something not real, what if its something someone believes in personally? Why isn't that enough to make it off limits, or at least worthy of some respect?

1) I have not in the past, present, nor do I believe in the future I will kill anyone because I think God wants me to.

My tolerance stops at murder.
However, I extend them far more tolerance than you do for these Christians.
I totally agree with Lash and Snood and Momma on this.
The whole porn thing was sick and in extremely poor taste.
Edgar thought he was being cute or some such thing. Lash tried to show him how foolish it was and he and ehBeth get snooty with it. I don't understand how ehBeth can claim to be a Christian and not realize the implications of what was being said.
Tolerance is a two way street.
It was another version of "Let's pretend God's penis is a jellyfish."
