Tico,

Do you remember The Playboy Lounge? It was a 3.2 bar.

No. I wasn't legal to drink until after the age of the 3.2 bars.

littlek,

I just KNEW I was going to hear this! Embarrassed Yes, a long time ago before I became Christian I did own a 3.2 beer bar called the Playboy Lounge. It had absolutely nothing to do with bunnies, I promise! That is the name it had when I bought it and I did not change it.

littlek, I used to do a lot of things I never should have done. Thank God He sent me His son. He changed my life so much for the better!

Tico,

And here I thought I might be locating a lost long friend. Laughing

Tico,

If you come out the main gate of McConnell and take a right, the Playboy Lounge was right down that road. I know there was an overpass not far from there. Those streets all sound familiar. There was also a club next door to the Playboy Lounge and it had many owners.

Probably near Oliver & George Washington Blvd., or up to Pawnee. The turnpike crosses over Oliver right about there, and there have always been a lot of clubs through there.

It's the alcoholic content of the beer. Most beers, at least at that time, were 6% alcohol. And you only had to be 18 to go to a 3.2 bar, whereas you had to be 21 to drink real beer or alcohol.

6% ? That is high for an American beer, isn't it?

We're not alcoholics. We just have a higher tolerance than our American brothers. Cool
