Squeaky, creaky shoes.

For some unknown reason, one (not the other) of my very favourite pair of shoes, which I often wear with jeans, has started to "creak". Rather annoying as they were quite an expensive purchase a while ago & they've been great till now.
And I'd much prefer for people not to hear me coming.

What to do about it, anyone?

saddle soap?

Like rub it on the shoes (inside & out?) , Rocky?

neets foot oil is good stuff too. but it discolors a bit sometimes...

I also heard that talcum powder does the trick, but who knows, Rocky?

I just want to stop this damned creaking.
It is not a cool thing at all!
