Just Wonders? Looks like he is fixated on me too.

Really, I just wonder why I am the object of so much attention here.

You are a hypocrite and fit the profile I defined above.

You have no idea as to my position on homosexuality, yet as the profile outlined above, you come to a ill-informed conclusion.

You, and those who think like you, are not concerned about liberty and justice for all, only for those who share your same twisted views.

You have already stated in another post that you support the SF ban on handguns.

I am licensed to carry in my State, yet, you do not support my right to carry.

You are so transparent, it is laughable.

What is laughbable is your apparent claim that carrying a handgun is a freedom.

Never said FREEDOM.....it is a RIGHT. However, you are not capable of understanding the difference I see.

As if having rights is not freedom? Wow!!!!!!

The SCOTUS disagrees with you. There is no inherent right to own a handgun. See Quillici v The Village of Morton Grove.

>sigh<
unfortunatly.. Confused

but, majority vote usually doesnt apply.
It is an opportunity for people to speak, but in the end, the vote, the laws, the ammendments .. are all decided by those stuffy people who sit in plush chairs in the capitol building pushing "yes" and "no" buttons on their desk that light up the wall behind the speaker of the capitol..
We can vote, bitch, complain, picket.. all we want.
It doesnt seem to apply.
But here in this deeply republican state.. equality for all doesnt apply
Evil or Very Mad

That was a 7th Circuit Court ruling, not the Supreme Court.

You are WRONG AGAIN!

The case was appealed to the SCOTUS and they refused to hear the case. So YOU ARE WRONG AGAIN!

Since this is a thread on marriage equality, I did not wish to go off topic by getting into detail about the fact that there is no recognized individual right to own a handgun.

For more detailed discussion, you can go to the proper thread.

SCOTUS, going back to Miller, has never struck down any gun control measure.

One indication that this is irrefutable as my stalker/attorney admirer has not chimed in to try to refute these facts.

.

So then please explain to the group what your motivation is to deny equal rights to gays? My experience is that people who oppose gay rights are homophobes. In fact, there is a lengthy thread here that pretty much confirms that belief.

Still fixated I see. The accusations are false. I borrowed chrissee's avatar, I don't know who this Harper character is.

Sure you do. You must take us for fools. You accuse Bush of being a liar, but yet it seems to come naturally to you.

You must have forgotten when you were using the name "Harper" you revealed your full name as "Harper Nicole Anderson." And that now you are posing as "twin_peak_nikki,"' you have signed your name as "Nicole Anderson."

Don't you remember the songs you reproduced in your Songs by Harper Nicole Anderson thread when you were going by the name "Harper"?

Particularly interesting is a song Harper posted on September 19, 2004, called "1000." Here is a link to that song.

Quote:
1000

One thousand, lord, it's just a number
One thousand is just one more than 999
How long...will it take us to discover
That war is not the answer
Almost all of the time

no no no no no
no no no no no no no no no

Fifty-eight thousand one hundred and sixty-nine
Names on a wall commemorating ultimate sacrifice
How long...will it take us to discover
That war is not the answer
Almost all of the time

no no no no no
no no no no no no no no no

59, lord it's just the number
Of innocent Iraqis killed in a car bomb just today
How long, how long, how long
Will it take us to discover
That war is not the answer
That peace is always a better way

------------------------

Put my songs up on myspace.com. You can find me there if you want to hear the songs. Or PM me for the link.

Harper Nicole [Anderson]

What makes that song most interesting, is a song later posted by "twin_peaks_nikki" on October 26, 2005, called "2000". Here is the link to that song.

Quote:
1000
Lord, it's just a number
1000 is just one more than 999
But how long, how long, how long,
Will it take us to discover
That war is not the answer
Alomost all of the time
na na na na na na
na na na na na na na

58,000, lord it's just a number
Names on a wall
The ultimate sacrifice
But how long, how long, how long,
Will it take us to discover
That war is not the answer
Alomost all of the time
na na na na na na
na na na na na na na

Bridge
Mothers and fathers,
Don''t send your kids off to war
'Specially when we don't even know
What the **** it is that we're fighting for

2000
Lord, it's just a number
2000 is just one more than 1,999
But how long, how long, how long,
Will it take us to discover
That war is not the answer
Alomost all of the time
na na na na na na
na na na na na na na

For some reason you feel the need to lie to your fellow posters at this site. As woiyo said, you are transparent.

Maybe you can explain to the group what your motivation is?

I'm not obsessed with it, littlek. I've proved her to be a liar, so I've moved on.

It really bothers me to see small kids at rallies holding signs that talk about God hating (I can't even bring myself to type it) and Popes in Hell. I'm sure those kids are there because they want to be. Rolling Eyes

littlek, this group says God hates America and is attacking us through natural disasters because we 'allow' gays to live here. Rolling Eyes They are very much against gays.

Wonder if they are the folks from Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka. Fred Phelps and his followers will picket anything, often the funeral of someone who died from AIDS.

Actually, the media doesn't give them as much exposure as they would like. I prefer that they be exposed rather than hide in the shadows. How fucked up are these nutjobs making their little kids hold up these signs?

And people worry about same sex parents?
