That one came out when I was raising Middle Schoolers, teaching them the evils of drugs....
Had my last experimentation months before I found out I was with child. Haven't touched anything of the illegal sort since then.
This makes me a big hypocrite. I did tell my children of my illicit adventures, but made them sound gruesome, and left out the fun parts.
One at 19 and one at 15. So far, they have not gone the wayward way of their bad mom.

Same here. I also told my son the stories and left out the fun stuff. He'll be 16 in 2 months and he's drug free :-D

Gezzy, aren't we fortunate. It is an incredible blessing not to worry about our kids out there doing all that stupid stuff we were out there doing when we were young! I am amazed I lived through my teens.

Mikey 52 dunno about ketamine personally that's supposed to be a horse tranquiliser but Coke in Oz is about $350 a gram.
Is that what it is in US.

I recall, (It has been a long time!!) that it is a high comparable to coke, but without the anguish of the post high euphoria.
Plus it lasts longer.
But other than that, I don't know.

I have tried Ecstacy many times over years in Australia, the UK Japan. It varies to great/euphoric to nauseating/anxiety ridden.
The first E I took was actually manufactured by a chemist in Fremantle when it was still legal (1987) and in those days a group of us used to sit out on the cliffs overlooking the river on a sunny winters days talking and generally sharing warm verbal and non verbal exchanges.
Many of these people didn't like Ecstacy beoming a nightclub/rave drug. Haven't taken it for a long time myself - it tends to be one of those drugs which people take more and more of to get off on in a club environment.
If you want to replicate the effects take a Valium and a 3 Sudafed sinus tablets (containing Pseedoephedrine) and you'll find legally pretty much what you buy for $40 a pop in some scuzzy club playing playing boring drum and bass.
My drug of choice:
NyQuil.

Seriously, I don't much care if somebody tokes a bit of weed. I do it myself from time to time. On the other hand, I have no use or sympathy whatsoever for idiots who find to their dismay that powdwer screws up lives. I'm no saint, and I imagine my experience with recreational pharmaceuticals is more extensive than might be that of many. I was "There" for the 'Sixties, and was an enthusiastic participant in the festivities. There aren't many drugs I haven't at least sampled, and there are several I became rather fond of. I saw lots of junkies. I don't like junkies. I saw lots of freinds become junkies. Many of them died as a consequence of their actions in that regard, others were jailed. Junkies ain't cool. Junkies are idiots. The junkies who don't know they'te junkies, the ones who profess "Its just a fun thing ... I can quit anytime I want to" are the biggest idiots.
